NEXON has announced to expand the release region of its beloved MMORPG, Mabinogi Mobile, launching in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in July 2026 on both Android and iOS. Developed by devCAT studio, the mobile port was first revealed back in February 2021, followed by a showcase, and launched in South Korea on March 27, 2026.

If you’re unaware, Mabinogi Mobile is a mobile adaptation and is based on the classic IP, with this port introducing new encounters, storylines, and characters that were not featured in the original game. And now, the game is gradually expanding to more regions with plans for a Japan server too, following the success in South Korea with over a million downloads and winning various awards.
While the game was originally supposed to be released in 2024, as per Nexon’s mobile games pipeline for 2024, it got delayed, but with these expansions, we can expect a proper global release soon enough. I mean, I’m quite excited considering we can create our own unique story here, all while experiencing various leisurely activities in Erin, like fishing, cooking, gathering, and more.
Gameplay-wise, you can engage in battles and use your own unique combinations using skills that changes based on Rune Engravings. And while the boss battles look fun, you can even spend time with other by dancing and playing musical instruments around a campfire, and maybe spark romance. Overall, the game looks very promising with stunning visuals, various fashion items, dyeing techniques, various characters like Nao, social activities, effortless progression, and more.
