Fortnite turned five years old this September. The battle royale game by Epic Games was first released on September 26, 2017. Since its release, the game has taken the world by storm with millions of players joining in every day. The developers have made sure to consistently deliver upon player expectations. The game has improved graphics and mechanics year upon year. They keep on adding new and exciting content to keep fans engaged. Fortnite’s fifth birthday is being celebrated in style with cakes scattered all across the map. Here’s our guide on how to find Birthday Cake locations in Fortnite.
Where to find the Birthday Cake in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
The island in Fortnite consists of many POIs (Points of Interaction). The developers have populated these POIs on the island with cakes. The cakes are marked with balloons around them. Once a player has reached the POI these balloons make it easier for them to find the cakes.
All the POIs except the Herald’s Sanctum have a birthday cake that can heal the players and improve their shields. There’s no limit to how many pieces you can eat, so use the cake to refill your shields if you can.
The birthday cake comes as part of Fortnite‘s fifth birthday, bringing presents and balloons with which players can interact. To complete the Birthday quest that asks you to eat cake in five different matches, pick a POI that you don’t mind landing at and eat the cake at the beginning of the match so you have shields and you don’t have to worry about getting eliminated before you can.
Bear in mind though that this is a mini event running until tonight. So buckle up and jump into the island from the battle bus. Try to get all the cakes as fast as you can.
