This time around Fortnite has announced its Winterfest 2022 update which is starting on 13 December 2022 and ends on 3 January 2023. Winterfest 2022 Update in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
The Winterfest 2022 update in Chapter 4 Season 1 bring several new skins, outfits, cosmetics, and gifts like every other update. But the catch this time is that players won’t need to work a lot to acquire these new rewards as this is the gifting season and Fortnite is not going to let down their players.
They are giving out 14 presents which will contain a total of 17 items. Players can acquire these completely free of cost and without breaking a sweat but for that they need to open the presents and here’s how they can do it.
Step by step guide to open Presents in Fortnite Winterfest 2022
If the players think they can redeem all 14 presents at once, they are mistaken. They can redeem only one present every day and they’ll need to log in every day during the event to claim all the presents. Here’s how players can redeem the presents:
- Step 1: Open Fortnite on your mobile.
- Step 2: Click on the Snowflake icon on the top left side of the menu. This will take you on to the Winterfest menu.
- Step 3: After reaching the Winterfest menu, click on “Visit Lodge.”
- Step 4: This will take the players inside a lodge. All 13 presents will be there with one particular present which can’t be touched.
- Step 5: Select the present you want to open and click on it from the pile. Click on the “Open” button to claim the item.
The present section will reset at 9:15 ET every day and will go on till 27 December 2022 which means 14 days from the day of the event’s commencement. All the players need to do is log in every day to claim their gift.
