How to find the Grappler in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
There are no other mobility items available in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 other than vehicles. The Icy Grappler was added to the game as a part of Winterfest 2023 but it was vaulted again in a couple of days due to some glitch. To keep at least one mobility item available for the players, Epic Games has added the classic Grappler back into the game.
The Grappler can be found as a part of chest loot and floor loot and there are no specific locations where they can be found in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 specifically. It is an Epic rarity item which means you will have a better chance of finding it inside chests rather than as floor loot. You should try to visit POIs where the loot spawning rate inside chests is higher than in other locations. The Grappler is going to be a part of the game till the end of the Winterfest 2023 event.
How to use the Grappler in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
You can’t use the Grappler for an unlimited number of times as it has a limited number of charges. The number of charges change every season but for Chapter 5 Season 1 of Fortnite, you will get a total of ten charges for the Grappler. After using it 10 times, this item will automatically be removed from your inventory.
You can use this to move quickly inside a Storm Circle, to go from one high location to another, and so on. All you need to do is aim the Grappler at the location you want to reach so that the plunger grapples onto the surface and then you’ll be able to travel using it in just a short amount of time. The Grappler will simply pull you forward to your destination which would otherwise take a lot longer to reach normally.
