Fortnite conducts a summer event every year where players can take part in quests and obtain rewards. This year is no different as Fortnite has launched its summer event and this time it is being called the Summer Escape event. This event will go on from July 4, 2023, to July 18, 2023. During this period players can complete a lot of quests and unlock more and more rewards by the end of the event. Here’s how players can unlock all the free cosmetic rewards in this year’s summer escape event in Fortnite.
Fortnite Summer Escape Rewards and Quest types
The Fortnite Summer Escape event will go on for a total of fourteen days during which players will have the chance to complete a series of quests and upon completion will be rewarded with various items. There are a total of three different types of rewards available in the event namely the quest set rewards, the bonus goal reward, and the mission-specific rewards. Players will be rewarded with various items upon completion of any of the entire quest sets and also get more free items upon completion of a certain number of Summer Escape quests.
Three quest sets will be available during the whole event and they’ll be live from July 4, 2023, to July 16, 2023, in their respective time frames. All of the Quench quests will be available from July 7, 2023, all Lagoon quests will be available from July 11, 2023, and all Make and Entrance quests will be available from July 16, 2023. Players will have till the end of the whole event to complete all of the respective quest sets.
Free cosmetic rewards in the Fortnite Summer Escape event
Upon the completion of various quest lines and a specific number of quests, players will be able to get their hands on several free cosmetic items. Here’s the list of all the different types of quests players will need to complete and the following rewards they’ll get for it respectively.
- Upon completion of all Quench quests: Nanners wrap
- Upon completion of all Lagoon Party quests: Treezy back bling
- Upon completion of all Make Entrance quests: Blossom Drop control
- Upon completion of 14 Summer Escape quests: Wild Fronds back bling
- Upon completion of 18 Summer Escape quests: Bugsy glider
- Upon completion of 24 Summer Escape quests: Toasted Coconut emote
- Upon completion of 24 Summer Escape quests: Lagoon Escape loading screen
On top of this players will get the Artifact Pickaxe harvesting tool upon destroying 10 rocks which will be available from July 11, 2023, at 9 AM ET. They will also get the Starry Sea Wrap by mantling within 30 seconds of busting through a door which will be available from July 12, 2023, at 9 AM ET.
