Just when the collaboration event between Fortnite and Star Wars is about to end, Epic Games has another big-time event ready for the fans and players to participate in. This time around, players will be offered a journey into the Spider-verse with the new Fortnite Web Battles Event. To participate in the event, however, players will have to register with epic games on the official website. The event has several steps that players have to be aware of, hence in this Fortnite Web Battles Event Guide, we will try and list out the process through which players can access this event.
How to participate in the Fortnite Web Battles Event
As stated before, to participate in the event, players will have to register with their official IDs on the official Website. As per Epic, the event will run from May 18 to May 23. The Event will be divided into two factions namely, team 2099 and Team Miles, players will have a choice to select either of these teams and compete with them. Both teams will have their own final rewards to offer. Players can follow the below-stated steps to register and eventually compete in the event

- Visit the official website
- Log in with their official Epic game ID
- Choose a team from Miles and 2099
- Launch Fortnite and compete in the game
- Claim rewards on completion of stated objectives
The objectives of the event will be updated on a daily basis and players will have to complete them in that specific time span. Once a new objective comes the event will progress further. Players should keep an eye on the available objectives for the day and make sure that they get as many points as possible for their team in that specific run.
List of rewards available in the Fortnite Web Battles event
Players do stand a chance to win many in-game rewards through the event. As stated before there will be different daily rewards in the event which players can receive by completing the daily objectives. In the end, the team with the most wins and points will be awarded the general reward of the quest which would be either Miguel’s Glare emoticon if team 2099 wins or the Shocked Miles emoticon if team Miles wins.
However, there will be more awards on the line as well with the event awarding players on their individual performances as well. Players who will be able to score more than 40 points between the stated event duration, May 18 to May 23 will be able to secure a special pickaxe, the Spider-Man’s Mallet with a built-in Put ‘er here emote. The item might be available as a purchase in the later phases of the game however with this event the players will have a chance to secure the harvesting tool for free.
