Fortnite is well known in the gaming industry not just for the gameplay but also for the crazy crossovers the developers manage to pull off. A new addition to the impressive portfolio of crossovers is the classic survival adventure title Alan Wake 2. An exclusive Alan Wake 2 skin will be made available for the players in Fortnite who will purchase the new title from the Epic Games store before October 27, 2024.
How to get the Alan Wake 2 outfit in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
Alan Wake 2 is the sequel to the American horror survival title which did manage to make a name for itself upon its release. With the crossover, Players will have the opportunity to bring Alan Wake to the battle royale as they look to slay enemies and land the victory royale for themselves. In order to get the skin, however, players will have to purchase Alan Wake 2 before October 27, 2024, from the official Epic Games store.
The offer to get the free skin however is only available for players on PC and players on the consoles would have to wait for the future date as the skin will also be made available through regular purchases from the store. As far as getting the Alan Wake 2 outfit for free is concerned, it will only be available for players on PC. Players can however use the same ID from which the purchase was made on PC, to log in to other platforms which will then allow them to use the skins on consoles as well.
Players can get a free Alan Wake Outfit and Alan’s Messenger Bag for free
As part of the collaboration every player who purchases the game, Alan Wake 2 on the Epic store would get Alan Wake Outfit and Alan’s Messenger Bag for free in their account at no extra cost. The collaboration will be active till October 27, 2024. Players who have already purchased the skin on their account will get a different reward, they will get 1,200 V-Bucks instead of the skin on offer. Alan Wake: Flashback is accessible in Discover, or through island code 3426-5561-3374
One important thing to note will be that in case of a refund for the game, Alan Wake 2, players will lose access to the skins and the V-Bucks received in place of the skins. The skins will however be made available to the official stores of the game at a later date from where other players will be able to get them from.
This collaboration would definitely appeal to the fans and players of Alan Wake as it will allow them to bring the character to the battle royale and it will be interesting to see what many interesting collaborations Epic has planned for Fortnite in the future.
