All the managers are trying to stabilize their teams with suitable options before the price hikes. In this FPL GW10 Watchlist 2021/22, we will be looking at 5 Fantasy players, who could become future transfer targets, carrying their good run.
FPL GW10 Watchlist 2021/22
The watchlist is back to identify potential transfer targets who caught the eye in the last gameweek. Midfield targets are the main concern this week with injury doubts to both Raphinha and Mbeumo. Therefore, our exclusive watchlist is based on these facts and keeping eye on the upcoming fixtures.
1. Tino Livramento (Defender) – 4.4 million
Tino Livramento has already cemented his place in the FPL history books by now. Not just for a bargain defender but for any defender, his performance has been amazing. Southampton is in mid-table for expected goals conceded. He performs decent defensively and surpasses all his expected attacking outputs. They face Watford, Aston Villa, and Norwich next.

Livramento gets 1.45 touches in the box per 90 mins, which considering he is a budget defender from Southampton is quite impressive. Even though his expected assists of 0.12 per 90 are nowhere near close to the likes of Trent but his expected goal involvements per 90 reach up to 0.18. And with his strike against Burnley last gameweek, he is slowly becoming the new Lord Lundstram of FPL this year. Many of us already own Livramento, and for those who don’t bring him in. Don’t be stubborn about it, there isn’t a better 4th or 5th defender in the league than Tino at the moment.
2. Phil Foden (Midfielder) – 8.1 million
Phil Foden extended his impressive run of form scoring twice to help Man City for a comfortable 4-1 win over Brighton. The 21-year-old fired a league-high tally of 8 shots during the game week all of which came from inside the box. Only Mason Mount, Mo Salah and Josh King could equal his 4 efforts on target. The performance marked the fourth consecutive start for the young Englishman sinking amassed 3 goals and 2 assists averaged 8.5 points per game over that spell.

Only Salah and Son have been handed more than his 3 big chances among midfielders and his 2.06 expected goals figure only trails the Liverpool talisman. Foden has also created 2 big chances in that time just falling short of De Bruyne‘s 3 amongst teammates. Man city’s long run of favorable fixtures extends all the way until the end of December with 6 of the next 11 matches given difficulty rating just 2.
3. Mason Mount (Midfielder) – 7.5 million
Premier League leaders Chelsea enjoying 7 goals rout against the bottom of the league Norwich with hattrick hero Mason Mount grabbing the headlines while owners of Kai Havertz can feel an incredibly hard time done by. Unsurprisingly no teammate manages as many as Mount’s 5 attempts at goal while his 4 efforts on target rank joint best among all players in gameweek 9. Only James McCarthy, Andy Robertson, and Mateo Kovacic have completed more final-third passes.

The England international completed 90 minutes for the first time since gameweek 3 following a minor injury but he remains a key figure under Thomas Tuchel when fit. No Chelsea player has been directly involved in as many as his 12 Premier League goals since the German took charge in gameweek 20 last season. The Blues will look to maintain their place at the top of the table with largely favorable fixtures until the end of the year. Man United is the only big six side they face between now and gameweek 20.
4. Maxwel Cornet (Midfielder) – 6.0 million
Maxwel Cornet, probably one of the most buzzing names after gameweek 9 show against Southampton. He opened the score sheet and netted the last goal of the match to make it a 2-2 draw for Burnley. In that match, he has bagged a total of 15 FPL points including a bonus of 3 points during his 77 mins on the field. The Ivorian did not start every match for the Clarets till now but Sean Dyche will surely reconsider his team sheet after the Gameweek 9 show.

During his game time (210 minutes in 4 matches) he has scored a total of 3 goals smashing 7 shots (5 on target) with an expected non-penalty goal figure of 0.52 ( xG/90 ) and expected assist figure of 0.04 ( xA/90 ). Cornet managed to maintain an average of 5.5 FPL points per match and is expected to continue his form with quite a favorable fixture ahead. Burnley will face five of their next eight matches with a difficulty rating of just 2 which includes Brighton, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Newcastle and Watford.
5. Armando Broja (Forward) – 5.0 million
Chelsea loanee Armando Broja made it 2 goals from 2 starts for Southampton as they drew with Burnley on Saturday. No player during the match took more than his 5 touches in the opposition’s box a tally shared with Redmond and Walcott while only Livramento fired more than his 2 shots from inside the box. The 20-year-old left the field with concerns over an ankle injury the manager Ralph HasenhĂĽttl is hopeful that Broja will be available for the weekend.

Over the past 2 gameweeks his total of 4 efforts on target ranks joint top among FPL forwards with only Christian Benteke able to better his 7 shots inside the box. He ranks fifth for expected goals in that time trailing Aubameyang, Firmino, Benteke and King. With many of the premium, forwards failing to deliver in recent weeks taking money out of the front line could be something to consider. No forwards priced 5 million or less is produced as many points as Armando Broja so far this season and he faces Watford and Norwich in the next 3 gameweeks.
