Free Fire has been adding new characters in-game for a while. Some of them do come from collaborations (DJ Alok, K, etc.) and some of them are based on the Free Fire comics (Kelly, Hayato, etc.). Who is Dimitri in Free Fire
Dimitri Vegas is the brother of Like Mike, and both of them are the world’s best DJ composer duo. Their real names are Dimitri Thivaios and Michael Thivaios. They were ranked number 1 on DJ’mags Top 100 DJs list in 2015 and 2019 and were ranked Number 2 in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020. They have also composed several albums and tracks. Free Fire has collaborated with both of them, the collaboration on the eve of the 4th-anniversary update is titled FF×DIMITRI & LIKE MIKE. Dimitri’s abilities in the game
This character is capable of creating a Ring of Aura (3.5m) where allies can heal 3 health points per second, also downed allies/knocked allies can self revive in that aura. The Ring of Aura is stationary, which means when a player uses Dimitri, the ring will be fixed to one place only. But the problem with the character is its low duration (10 seconds – 15 seconds) and high cooldown (1 minute 25 seconds – 1 minute). The character will be very useful when rushing to a whole squad or enemy squad rushing on the player.
Character combinations you can use with Dimitri
When using Dimitri, there will be 2 major character combinations that you can use according to the general gameplay. Those are Rush and Camp.
Rush gameplay

Hayato has the ability to increase armor penetration by 18-20% whenever 10% of HP is reduced whereas awakened Hayato also have 18-20% of armor penetration but also have reduced frontal damage by 20℅ which will reduce the enemy’s damages significantly. |

Dimitri could be the best character for battle royale (rusher) and also for Clash Squad (rush/camp). This character is available in the store for 499 diamonds (399 after using a discount coupon). There is a slight possibility that Dimitri will be on discount for 299 diamonds in the gift store. Also, there is a high possibility that Dimitri’s skill will be nerfed as it is currently misbalancing the game. But for now, Dimitri is a very overpowered character and is only available via the in-game store.
Dimitri: Tips and tricks
The best way to use Dimitri is camping/scouting. While camping, many times players need to revive teammates while damaging the enemy or stop the enemy from rushing by damaging/knocking them. When using Dimitri in the Clash Squad mode, it has a decent aura ring that can heal and revive allies. Dimitri will slowly start misbalancing the game, but currently, he is the best character available in the store.
