These gardening fields can be purchased from the Realm Depot in the ‘Riches of the Realm’ with Realm Currency. Different fields will allow the plantation of various Mondstadt, Liyue And Inazuma Local Specialties. Each field has four idle areas where a single seed can be planted at any given time.
After the purchase, these gardening fields can be found in the Landform section of the builder window. Once they are placed, the fields will show up on the mini-map with its unique icon. Like other forms, these also require load. Therefore, travelers need to be careful while placing them. In case one has reached the load limit, it is advisable to remove some furnishings and then add the fields. Travelers can see which slots are idle and what type of plants can be planted in a particular field when one interacts with it.
Once a seed is planted, the time it takes to grow will be displayed at that particular moment. Fields can be cleared without disrupting the growth of other plants in the same field. However once fields are cleared, seeds can not be retrieved for the ones which were used.
How to obtain seeds for the Gardening Fields in Genshin Impact
Travelers can obtain seeds for various plants and flowers by gathering them in the open world while equipping the seed dispensary. From the looks of it, each plant will give one seed. However, the number of seeds obtained may depend on the type of plant itself. Once a seed has been obtained through the seed dispensary, travelers can buy the seeds from the Realm Depot in the ‘Creatures of the Realm Section‘ with Realm Currency.
These gardening fields will certainly be helpful for farming specialities like Violetgrass. These can only be found along the edge of cliffs and mountains. Violetgrass is very tough to farm without the help of Special Talents like Qiqi’s. These generally show their position on the mini-map. Another flower would be Qingxin, which are only found at the very top of the cliff. They are also relatively hard to farm consistently.
