Akitsu Kimodashi is a flagship event available, during the first phase of the Version 3.3 Update. It will be available from the time of 10:00 on the 15th of December, 2022 to 03:59 on the 2nd of January, 2023. Ayato, Itto, Heizou, etc. are among the characters appearing in the story part of the event. This event will allow players to watch their favorite characters interact with each other and reward an event-exclusive 4* weapon. This weapon will not be available in any rate-up banners, so players better not miss out on it. With the help of the Genshin Impact guide, players will be able complete in Akitsu Kimodameshi event.
How to unlock the Akitsu Kimodameshi event in Genshin Impact
Players must meet certain criteria before being able to unlock this event:
Criteria
- Adventurer Rank 30 or above.
- Complete the “Ritou Escape Plan” part of the Inazuma Archon Quest.
- Complete Arataki Itto’s story quest, “Rise Up, Golden Soul”.
If players have not yet completed any of the pre-requisite quests, they can enter the event by pressing the “Quick Start” button on the event page. However, they cannot do the same if they are under Adventure Rank 30.
Genshin Impact Akitsu Kimodameshi Event: Complete details
Once the event has been started, players will be prompted to visit the Yashiro Commission. Here, they will meet Ayato, who will inform them of the “Test of Courage” event being held in Inazuma. Players will be sent to Chinju Forrest, where they will go through the test of courage. Players should not worry, this part of the story does not involve any combat.
Players must simply go to the locations marked on the map and talk to the NPCs. At one point, players will be able to pick a partner from Kazuha, Ayaka, and Gorou. The choice of partner is irrelevant to the story, so players should just pick anyone. Raiden Ei will show up and inform players of a game being held at the beach. This will be an important location later.
After playing through the rest of the story, players will be sent to the beach. There is a platform built on the shore, where a block-breaking game takes place. This is called Akitsu Yuugei.
Genshin Impact Akitsu Yuugei: Gameplay details
This part of the event involves playing a minigame. This mini-game is very similar to the arcade game called Breakout, which is published by Atari in 1976. Many players will be familiar with this type of gameplay. In this event, there is a twist on the classic breakout gameplay.
There are two types of Akitsu Yuugei matches, namely Leisurely Pastime and Shatterdark. Leisurely Pastime is a simple brick-breaking game with a normal and harder difficulty mode. Shatterdark is a boss battle that also involves brick breaking. The goal is to break the barriers to the boss to be able to damage it. Players should not worry, as it is not too difficult.
Before starting each match of Akitsu Yuugei, players will be allowed to choose up to four members in a party. Players should bring characters with elements that can react with the block types present in the match. The block types can be viewed from the match menu. Players can also choose modifiers to add to the match. Some of these modifiers include a movement speed buff and one where a wall is created behind the player which will reflect any balls that hit it. Each match bans all characters of one particular element from being picked.
When the match begins, the elemental skill button will be replaced with a skill-ball button. Press the button to launch the ball. The bar will be infused with the element of the character controlling it. The ball will be infused with the element of the bar. Players can switch characters to change the element of the bar after the ball has been launched, and change the element of the ball when it hits the bar again. The goal is to break all the bricks by causing elemental reactions.
Co-op
Akitsu Yuugei: Leisurely Pastime can be played in co-op. Only two players can play it in co-op at any given time. Akitsu Yuugei: Shatterdark can only be played solo.
Genshin Impact Akitu Kimodameshi Event: Rewards
Completing each match in each difficulty mode rewards 120x primogems each, alongside some Hero’s Wit, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore. Completing the first match rewards the event-exclusive 4* weapon, which involves the sword of Toukabou Shigure.
Completing each match in each difficulty mod also rewards Courage Test Ticket, which is the currency for the event shop. The event shop includes refinement materials for Toukabou Shigure, as well as 1x Crown of insight, required to increase character talent level from 9 to 10. It also includes Inazuma talent books and weapon ascension materials. Completing all of the matches will reward a total of 5700 Battle Pass EXP, and this does not count towards the weekly EXP limit.
