Ancient Colors is a world quest series found in Fontaine, released in Genshin Impact Version 4.0. This quest series has 3 acts, Blue Longing of Heart and Moon being the third act. It will become immediately available after completing the second act, A Gradient of Dreams and Ochre. This guide will cover how to find the quest and how to complete it.
Genshin Impact “Ancient Colors Act 3: Blue Longing of Heart and Moon” World Quest: The Source of the Earthquake
This quest continues from the previous act. Follow the quest marker and try to enter the wormhole nearby. Failing that, enter the water nearby. Keep swimming until you emerge from the water. A cutscene will play and you will have to defeat Jakob, who is an Iniquitous Baptist in disguise.
After defeating Jakob in a fight, a cutscene will play and a few Rifthounds will spawn which you will have to defeat. At first, you won’t be able to move. The barrier holding you in place will be removed after a while and then you can fight. After defeating the Rifthounds, talk to Mamere. You will be teleported to a strange place. Here you will have to use the prism to unlock the crystals. Afterward, follow the marker and meet the owner of the voice.
After the conversation is over, you will be teleported back. A conversation will play out where Seymour will reveal his identity. This brings the quest to an end.
Genshin Impact “Ancient Colors Act 3: Blue Longing of Heart and Moon” Bonus Quest
Travel to the Institute of Natural Philosophy and interact with the book that is found in the final room. The book icon will show up on the map if you have completed Aqueous Tidemarks and interacted with it before. You can simply teleport to that location from the map. Interact with the book and then talk to Seymour. This is the entire quest. You will get 20x Primogems as a reward.

Blue Longing of Heart and Moon was the third and final act of the Ancient Colors World quest series. There are no more sequels. However, there are some small world quests that will become available after completing Ancient Colors.
