Genshin Impact released a new playable 4 Star character, Kaveh, in version 3.6. Kaveh is a 4 Star Dendro Claymore character whose kit falls into the DPS/Sub-DPS category. He is meant to use in a rotational manner by utilizing his Burst and then his Elemental Skill to dish out Dendro damage. It can shred Dendro resistance which allows for more Spread and Dendro Core DMG and an overall boost to your team’s general damage. If other characters can better utilize the 4-piece set then it is better to not equip the set to Kaveh as the 4-piece bonus does not stack. As Kaveh just like other Main DPS/Sub-DPS units, has a high Elemental Burst cost (80 ER Cost), there is a certain threshold that he needs to fill in order to dish out high damage and an optimal team rotations. 

Kaveh’s ER Requirements:

• Kaveh’s ER is important as his attack rotations involve his Burst. His target Energy Recharge will vary based on certain factors but generally, around 150% ER is good if you use another Dendro unit in the party that can help generate Dendro particles. 
• However, if Kaveh is the only Dendro character in the party he would need over 180% ER due to certain factors such as type of Dendro reaction team comps etc. 

For sub-stats prioritize on getting enough ER to adjust to high energy needs, afterward look mainly for EM and Crit stats.
