Memory’s Final Chapter is a new world quest that is added in the new Sumeru update in Genshin Impact. This world quest is the final side quest that must be completed in Sumeru’s Agnihotra Sutra to finish the long Aranyaka quest chain. Here the player will need to talk to the old researcher and the three aranaras by befriending them.
How to unlock and complete the Memory’s Final Chapter World Quest in Genshin Impact
To unlock the Memory’s Final Chapter quest, the player should follow the guidelines below:
- The player should first complete the first world quest in the chain of Sumeru’s Agnihotra Sutra, Aragaru’s Drawing,
- The player should then complete the second world quest in the chain of Sumeru’s Agnihotra Sutra, Aranakin’s Old Friend,
- The player should first complete the first world quest in the chain of Sumeru’s Agnihotra Sutra, Aranaga’s Memory,
After completing these steps, the quest is then unlocked, and the quest chain of Agnihotra Sutra can be completed once finishing this last quest.
Talking to The Old Researcher Khayyam
To start the quest the players will need to talk to the old researcher Khayyam. To find where he is the player must first quickly travel to the Mawtiyima Forest’s northern Teleport Waypoint. Once there, the player should start traveling east towards the watery portion of the forest, it is there where Khayyam can be found.
The player will find slimes in the location which they can just quickly dispose of. After this quick skirmish, the player should then proceed to talk to the old researcher, then the traveler will explain what happened in his/her past three quests that the players did. After telling Khayyam that the Aranaras did not remember him, he is disappointed and walks away sadly and unsteadily.
Talking to the Aranaras
After talking to the old researcher, the players will need to go to the location where the Aranaras are. Proceed then to talk to the trio of Aranaras, they will then perform a ritual where the dried flowers will come to life back again. Although the Aranaras do not remember they say it does not matter. What matters is that they are here right here and right now and that they can be friends right at that moment then

In the Memory’s Final Chapter quest, players can obtain rewards by completing the quest. The rewards include
