The Chasm of Genshin Impact is filled with passages and secret areas for travelers to explore or discover through World Quests. It is only possible to reach these hidden areas by finding items hidden within the underground mines, which can be a tedious task. Travelers must obtain an item known as the Orb of the Blue Depths by defeating various enemies to access a secret room. Our step-to-step guide aims to describe where and how to use the Orb of the Blue Depths in Genshin Impact to access a secret room and complete the quest.
There is 9 Orb of the Blue Depths and players can get multiple chests and an achievement Crede Tenebrae. Do note that having at least Level 2 of Lumenstone Adjuvant will make some enemies much easier to fight. Try to avoid using a shielder when fighting the enemies.

Players need to teleport to The Serpent’s cave east waypoint, head southwest, and jump down. Remove the purple blob with the gadget and battle it out with Haltaf. Defeat Haltaf and get an orb of the blue depths.

Teleport back to The Serpent’s cave east waypoint, glide west, enter the cave, and head north. Interact with the glowing light that you come across along the way and players will find a miner’s key. Go out of the cave and open the gate with the key found earlier. Remove the purple blob with the gadget and battle it out with Skeld. Defeat Skeld and get an orb of the blue depths.

Players need to teleport to the Underground Waterway east waypoint, head west, and enter the tunnel. Keep to the right and climb up to the higher platform. Keep moving forward until players find Edgetho. Battle it out with Edgetho. Defeat Edgetho and get an orb of the blue depths.

Teleport to Stony Hall’s south waypoint and head southwest. Remove the breakable wall with normal attacks. Battle it out with Buliwyf. Defeat Buliwyf and get an orb of the blue depths. A precious chest will spawn upon defeating all three of them.

Teleport to The Glowing Narrows southeast waypoint and head north. Players need to use the spoutrock now to go higher and remove the purple blob with their gadget. Battle it out with Serkir. Defeat Serkir and get an orb of the blue depths.

Teleport back to The Glowing Narrows southeast waypoint, head south, and descend to a lower altitude. Battle it out with Roneth. Defeat Roneth and get an orb of the blue depths.

Teleport to The Glowing Narrows north waypoint and head east. Remove the breakable rock with the help of the geo bombs. Battle it out with Herger. Defeat Herger and get an orb of the blue depths.

Teleport to Underground Waterway southwest waypoint and head southwest. Battle it out with Hyglacg. Defeat Hyglacg and get an orb of the blue depths.

Teleport to the waypoint at the northeast of the blue pillar and head southeast. Battle it out with Rethel. Defeat Rethel and get an orb of the blue depths.
Using Mechanism
Players need to teleport to the upside-down waypoint, head south, and climb up to a higher platform. They must use all nine orbs of the blue depths collected earlier to unlock the door. Players will receive the achievement Crede Tenebrae upon opening the door and players can find multiple chests there.
