Genshin Impact’s Patch 2.1 has brought with it two islands. These islands give the story progress through the new world and archon quests. One of these quest chains in the Genshin Impact latest update is Seirai Stormchasers. This quest is very important as completing the quest will unlock the new world boss Thunder Manifestation, also known by the fans as the Electro Oceanoid.
Seirai Stormchasers: How to begin the World Quest
The quest consists of four parts which involve the player exploring the new Island Serai while solving some puzzles. To start the quest series, travelers need to talk to Katheryne in Inazuma. A marker will be left on the minimap that players need to reach. The map of Seirai won’t be visible until the players interact with the Statue of the Seven located on the Island.
How to reach the marked location
The best way to reach the location is to teleport to the bottom of Tatarsuna. One must then use the Wayrider to sail in the direction of the marked location. Then, set foot on the island and head towards the mark. One must remember to unlock the teleport waypoints that one encounters along the way. This is where players will finally find Eiko.
Seirai Stormchasers Part I
Players will talk to Eiko who will then lead to another NPC Taisuke who is situated next to the Statue. For making life easier and for faster navigation, one must remember to unlock the Statue.
After this, all players will need to head to various locations as directed during the quest. This is until they reach a shrine where a black cat named Neko is sitting. Players will then be directed to defeat a group of treasure hoarders at three different locations. This is followed by the collection of the materials and heading back to the shrine by teleporting to the Asase Shrine waypoint and then fixing the offering box.
One must teleport to the Statute of the Seven and touch the 3 swords, surrounding the warding stone. One must aim to solve the puzzle to rotate the bottom stone twice. This triggers the cutscene which marks the end of the first part of the questline.
Seirai Stormchasers Part II
Part two of the questline is located east of Amakumo Peak. This is right next to the waypoint. One must forget to unlock the waypoint. One must interact with the two swords near the warding stone and for the third sword, one must head south for a gate-like structure called phase gate.
One must go through the Phase Gate and must not press the jump button until he reaches the destination. This will be followed by touching the sword and opening the common chest. One must teleport back to the waypoint and rotate the top 3 times. After solving the puzzle, players must teleport to the Fort Hiraumi waypoint.
Seirai Stormchasers Part III
Travelers need to talk with Eiko and Taisuke who will task with solving the ward puzzle. One must use the phase gate to reach the destination which is the platform with the phase gate and an electroculus.
One must equip the electrogranum by interacting with the Thunder Sakura bough. This will spawn thunder spheres using which players can reach the next floating stones. Always touch the thunder sakura bough to spawn the thunder spheres. The location of the paper charm hangars (swords) will be marked on the mini-map, use them to navigate through the floating stones. The first sword is located near a teleport waypoint which also has the warding stone. After all the swords have been interacted with, head back to the location of the first sword. To solve the puzzle rotate the top 3 times and rotate the bottom 5 times.
Seirai Stormchasers Part IV
For the last part of the quest, travelers need to head towards the direction marked on the map by using the thunder spheres. One must keep moving until they reach a floating stone with a teleport waypoint and the three swords. One must solve the puzzle by rotating the top and bottom twice respectively.
Players solving the puzzle will form a platform by merging various small stones. One must glide towards the platform where they will need to defeat the world boss Thunder Manifestation. Collecting the rewards isn’t necessary, but if someone has unlocked Baal or Sara, they will need Storm Beads for ascension.
Defeating the boss will unlock the last location where the players need to head. They must use thunder spheres to reach the final place where two chests, one electroculus, and a mysterious item Peculiar Pinion will be located.
