“Flame-Mane” Dehya is a Pyro claymore character who was released in Genshin Impact version 3.5 and she will be added to the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation in version 3.6. As a future Standard banner character, players will probably accumulate Dehya constellations over time against their will. In that case, it should be nice to be aware of the value of her constellations. This article will break down the benefits and drawbacks of Dehya’s constellations.
Genshin Impact: Constellations for Dehya
|Constellation Level||Constellation Effect(s)|
|C1. The Flame Incandescent||Dehya’s Max HP is increased by 20%, and she deals bonus DMG based on her Max HP when using the following attacks: Molten Inferno’s DMG will be increased by 3.6% of her Max HP. Leonine Bite’s DMG will be increased by 6% of her Max HP.|
|C2. The Sand-Blades Glittering||When Dehya uses Molten Inferno: Ranging Flame, the duration of the recreated Fiery Sanctum field will be increased by 6s. Additionally, when a Fiery Sanctum exists on the field, DMG dealt by its next coordinated attack will be increased by 50% when an active character(s) within the Fiery Sanctum field is attacked.|
|C3. A Rage Swift as Fire||Increases the Level of Leonine Bite by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.|
|C4. An Oath Abiding||When Flame-Mane’s Fist and Incineration Drive attacks unleashed during Leonine Bite hit opponents, they will restore 1.5 Energy for Dehya and 2.5% of her Max HP. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s.|
|C5. The Alpha Unleashed||Increases the Level of Molten Inferno by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.|
|C6. The Burning Claws Cleaving||The CRIT Rate of Leonine Bite is increased by 10%. Additionally, after a Flame-Mane’s Fist attack hits an opponent and deals CRIT Hits during a single Blazing Lioness state, it will cause the CRIT DMG of Leonine Bite to increase by 15% for the rest of Blazing Lioness’s duration and extend that duration by 0.5s. This effect can be triggered every 0.2s. The duration can be extended for a maximum of 2s and CRIT DMG can be increased by a maximum of 60% this way.|
Genshin Impact: Constellations breakdown for Dehya
C1: The Flame Incandescent
At C1, it is better to equip Dehya with HP% Sands instead of ATK%. Both her skill and burst now benefit from having higher HP. Her ability to redirect DMG will also benefit from HP% Sands. This constellation boosts her DMG decently enough.
C2: The Sand-Blades Glittering
This constellation does not benefit Dehya’s personal DMG by a significant amount, but the increased duration on her skill will benefit certain teams like Ganyu Burn-Melt which relies on coordinated attacks to function.
C3: A Rage Swift as Fire
This constellation is good for bursting DPS Dehya if players choose to build her that way.
C4: An Oath Abiding
This constellation is a blessing for Dehya. It does not solve all of her energy issues, but being able to restore energy to herself during burst mode is an ability very few characters have and none of them benefit from it the way Dehya does. This constellation can potentially lower her ER needs by around 20%. Keep in mind, Dehya restores flat energy to herself, similar to how Raiden Shogun’s burst works. This flat energy is not affected by ER. She would still need more ER than most characters since her particle generation is below average.
C5: The Alpha Unleashed
This constellation does not increase her DMG by much. It also comes with a very small increase in DMG mitigation. Overall, a very below-average constellation.
C6: The Burning Claws Cleaving
This constellation helps increase her burst DMG by a pretty decent amount. The CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG buff increases the total average DMG during her burst mode. The ability to increase her burst duration lets her unleash more punches, which also contributes to an increase in her total DMG.
Dehya’s constellations are mixed bag. C1, C3, C4, and C5 help to increase her burst DMG meanwhile the other constellations increase her team-supporting abilities. At C0, Dehya is not a viable DPS, and players are advised to build her as a support. At C6, she becomes a pretty decent burst DPS.
That said, it is absolutely not advisable for players to try and pull for her constellations from her rate-up banner. She will be added to the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation starting from version 3.6. Players can gradually obtain her constellations from the Standard banner or by losing 50/50 from the event banner.
The reason it is not advisable to pull for her constellations is that at C6 she barely matches the DMG of other Pyro DPS at C0. It takes a lot of effort to make her viable. If players enjoy her design and gameplay and do not care about the META, they can just play her at C0.
