How to unlock the Thus Was the Work Done in Vain World Quest
Follow the below mentioned steps to unlock and complete ‘Thus Was the Work Done in Vain’ World Quest in Genshin Impact:
- Completion of Ancient Azure Stars. (Mona’s quest in the summertime odyssey event)
- Read “old notes” in the Minacious isle (represented by “!”)
- Go to the island within the lake to check the ruins of the past and go to the place on the lake island where the notes were left.
- Go inside the Chamber.
- The correct order to light the Torches:
- The one in the furthermost corner of the room.
- Directly behind the pillar.
- Near the gate.
- Return to the outside of the lake to check Wolfgang’s notes.
- After returning outside from the lake check Wolfgang’s notes.
- Go to the ruins on the ocean surface to search for traces of Wolfgang.
- Read the notes that are at one corner of the room.
- Go to the place on the lake island where the notes were left.
- Light up the 4 torches and turn the 2 switches on.
- Players need a sea salt crusted key to open the gate.
- After getting into the secret chamber, blow the dust with anemo and light up the torches in the order given in the image above.
- Look for a place to leave hints.
- Return to the outside of the lakes and check Wolfgang’s notes.
- Go to the new Sunker Highland Ruins.
- Go to the island within the lakes to check the Highland Ruins.
- Go to the designated place, leave the hints, and sweet madame. (players need “Starlight Coalensences” to make the pathway)
- Now Go back outside the lake to check Wolfgang’s etchings.
