Genshin Impact has released version 3.8 which includes its limited map expansion Veluriyam Mirage which will be available throughout the whole patch. The map is filled with many puzzles, quests, and other exploration content that gives away Primogems and more. One of these exploration content is the Water Balls (Hydro Eidolons) scattered across the whole map. Solving their problems will grant you different rarities of chests. There are about 60 Water Balls on the map and here is part 2 of the Genshin Impact guide on all the water ball locations as well as a walkthrough of the puzzles.

Genshin Impact Veluriyam Mirage: Pavilion of Hermits – (12 Water Balls)
33. is a Hide and Seek game. Interact with the sign to start. The 3 Hydro Balls will then take different shapes. One is hiding as a box beside the waterfall, another one is a candy cane and the last one is a doll. Use can also use Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
34. Interact with the Hydro Ball in order to start the puzzle. There are 4 Hydro Monuments surrounding the Hydro Ball. The Hydro Ball will then guide you through the order of activating each Hydro totem serially. Follow the Hydro Ball’s guide and activate the totems in order. You will then receive a chest.
35. Defeat the Lawachurl that is guarding the Water Ball that is inside a cage in order to rescue it and obtain the chest.
36. The chest is guarded by 3 hydro eidolons. You will have to play a game with them where they shuffle themselves and you have to pick the one who had the pink flower emote. Do it 3 times in order to finish the game. Tip: the one with the pink flower will always set itself in the middle.
37. Go interact with the Hydro Eidolon at the top of the wooden floor. Then dive into the small body of water.
38. There is a Hydro Eidolon that needs to be guided to the other side of the tree to reunite with the other Hydro Eidolon.
39. Keep on interacting with the Hydro Eidolon who keeps on doing tricks with 2 other Hydro Eidolons. You will then obtain a chest.
40. The Hydro Eidolon will turn into 5 different shapes and then you will then have to choose the order of the changes. The order is as follows: Blue Box, Animal, Green Box, Doll, and finally the Candy Cane.
41. It is a Hide and Seeks game. Interact with the sign to start. The 3 Hydro Balls will then take different shapes. One is hiding as a bush beside a tree, another one is a candy cane beside the stack of boxes and the last one is a barrel at the back of the tent. Use can also use Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
42. Interact with the 3 boxes stacked amongst each other. The 3 Hydro Eidolons will transform back and you will obtain a chest.
43. Follow the Hydro Eidolon who will lead you to the chest.
44. Located on the top. It is a Hide and Seeks game. Interact with the sign to start. The 3 Hydro Balls will then take different shapes. One is hiding as a barrel another one is a candy cane beside the stack of boxes and the last one is a box with arrows pointed toward it. Use can also use Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.

45. The Hydro Eidolon is disguised as a box surrounded by shrooms. Defeat the shrooms and rescue the hydro ball.
46. It is a Hide and Seeks game. Interact with the sign to start. The 3 Hydro Balls will then take different shapes. One is hiding in a box with other boxes, another one is a rock that is on top of a box and the last one is a barrel on top of a ledge. Use can also use Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
47. This one is located inside the building. Follow the Hydro Eidolon which will lead you towards the chest.
48. It is a Hide and Seeks game. Interact with the sign to start. The 3 Hydro Balls will then take different shapes. One is hiding as a box surrounded by Hilichurls, another one is a box beside the waterfall and the last one is a barrel on top of land. Use can also use Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
49. Interact with the sign first in order to start the puzzle. You will be in Camera Mode. Wait for the 2 Hydro Eidolons to get close to each other in the middle of the boat and click the picture.
50. Disguised as a Cryo Flower surrounded by 4 exploding Dendro flowers. Interact with the Cryo Flower and it will transform into a Hydro Ball and obtain the chest.
51. Destroy the Rockpile that is on top of a box. The Hydro ball will come out and lead you to the chest.
52. Inside the building. The pot will turn into a mushroom and then guide you into the chest.
53. Located at the top. The box will transform into the eidolon and lead you to a task where you need to choose the right eidolon at the end in order to get the chest. It is a simple memory game.
54. Interact with the Hydro Eidolon. It will transform into a box, and then the Water ball next to it will copy and pass it onto the next one. Observe the order. The 3rd Water Eidolon ruins the mimic. Before it messes it up, interact with it in order to fix it.
55. Interact with the sign to trigger the puzzle. First, use Dendro on the Dendro pile to bring out the first water eidolon then rescue the second one from Hilichurls by defeating them. Finally, take a picture of both the water balls together.
56. Bring back 3 Hydro Eidolons to obtain a chest. One of them is surrounded by torches which you have to extinguish, other one is hiding as a potted sweet flower which you have to interact with. Finally, the last Hydro Ball can be brought out if you destroy the floating balloons with a Bow character.
57. First read the sign, then 2 hilichurls will spawn near the book. Defeat them and retrieve the book back to the Hydro ball. Finally, take a picture of the scene.
58. There will be 3 bloaty floaties scattered around the area. Pop them all and the Hydro Eidolons that were hidden inside will spawn back to the chest location.
59. This is part of the World Quest “Daiya’s Three Day Reverie – Petrifying Gaze”. Firstly, you have to push the box beside the owl lamp. Then the rock at the center transforms into a Hydro ball. Follow the Hydro ball and it will lead you to the chest.
60. This is part of the World Quest “Daiya’s Three Day Reverie – Petrifying Gaze”. Follow the Hydro Ball that was in #59 and continue forward. A puzzle awaits where you have to break the rock pile and put the fire off. Then interact with the potted sweet flower. Finally, destroy the floaty bloaties with a Bow user. You will then obtain another chest.
