Ghost Story is a tale of love and friendship where the scenes are replicated by the “LOVE O2O” drama series. You get to follow quests and progress with the story to meet your romantic fantasy. Gameplay Overview
Ghost Story: Love Destiny is an interesting MMORPG that follows a storyline mechanism. You’ll get regular dialogues heavily influenced by the quests in the game. The storyline does not follow a chapter-based progression system, rather it has quests for leveling up.
You’ll need to interact with various NPC characters who will guide you to your next location or task. The game has a continuous stride of quests. You complete one, and the next one falls in line. The gameplay is not stressful at all. As the storyline follows the quests, you need to do exactly that.
The quests could have practically anything that surrounds the game including occasional fights. The controls are easy as well. It has a joystick for movement on the left and attack buttons on the right.
Once you activate one of the attack icons during a fight, all of them get activated and set on auto. You can just tap on the quest and the game initiates auto pathfinding for your character. This way you won’t even have to use the joystick. To begin the game, you’ll need to select a class for your character initially. You can choose any one of the thirteen classes mentioned below:

Skill
In the Skill section, you’ll witness all the character skills that you use as attack icons during fights. The section contains the unique skills of the character class you chose initially. However, it also has skills general to all characters irrespective of their classes.
You can check the current attributes and level of the skills while upgrading the skills. There are other miscellaneous skills such as gathering, fishing, alchemy, and more that need attention in the later levels.
Forge
The Forge section allows you to enhance your gear by various methods. First up, there is refining where you get Affix Refining, Basic Refining, and Replace Affix options. Using the Purification Vase, you can refine any piece of gear or equipment of your character.
Also, the gear color intensifies when you receive an extra affix during refining. The purple gear cards are the most powerful weapons or items, then go the red ones, and so on. You can enhance your gear using sufficient Wushan Stone. The game additionally allows to merging of the gear pieces to develop a stronger one.
Quest
The Quest section has the main quests, side quests, and relationship quests. The main quests are important as they govern the story of love and destiny. To view the quest, you just need to click on the respective section.
You’ll see the quest along with the quest details below it for any given task to you. The section shows all the available quests, Ghost Story has for you at that level. You can also see the ones you’ve accepted and currently working on to complete.
Inventory
The Inventory or Bag is the storage space of Ghost Story: Love Destiny. You can see the gear equipped to the character systematically. Upon clicking the item, you can view the rating, basic attributes, durability, and affix attributes of the piece.
The inventory contains all sorts of items in the game including resources, stones, food, weapons, armor, shoes, etc. You can set them as Gear or can even Craft them. The game also gives you the option to recycle them.
Events
The Events section has several events that reward you with resources, gold, and much more. For instance, there are two categories of Events: Daily and Casual. The daily events are further divided into Gear, EXP, and Contribution.
The casual events currently going on in the game are Grace Tutorial Record, Protect Spirit Pill, and Golden Treasure Map. There are guild events as well which are fruitful for getting goodies and progressing.
Guild
Guild is the clan or alliance section of Ghost Story. You can either create or join one. There is not much difference as compared to the clan in other similar games.
You can join one using the Guild ID or apply to any of the existing options. Once the Guild Admin accepts your application, you can carry on the guild activities and even participate in Guild events.

1. Choose an Appropriate Character Class
There are thirteen choices for character classes in the game. Each class has unique skills. So, you must choose the one that resonates the most with your play style. 2. Follow the Main Quest
As I’ve mentioned before, the majority of the game is based on the storyline and the storyline contains quests. The quests are a significant way to progress in the story. So, rather than falling for the stage or chapter mechanism, you could just follow the main quests. There are other kinds of quests as well such as the side quest and the relationship quest. You shouldn’t ignore them. While these are important, you should put more effort into completing the main tasks.
3. Enhance your Gear
There are various options in the Gear section to enhance the quality and efficiency of the character’s gear. For refining, you can add a purification vase to remove the impurities. There are again multiple options for refining. For enhancing any piece of gear or weapon, you need Wushan Stone and this ultimately increases the perfection of the item. You can even merge two pieces of gear to get a more powerful one. So, look closely for these options and upgrade them regularly for a better win.
4. Keep upgrading your Skills
The character class you choose initially will have its set of skills. Apart from the unique skills, there are some generic ones as well. These apply to all kinds of characters having any of the thirteen classes. to upgrade any skill, you just have to select it and click on upgrade.
Make sure that you’ve enough resources for the process. The Body Cultivation skills also require upgradation. This appears necessary because once you progress, you’ll face more rigorous enemies. To defeat them, you need to be greater in level and strength.
5. Participate in Guild Events
Guild is another important aspect of Ghost Story, as I’ve already described in the respective section. There are events exclusively reserved for the guild activities in the Events section. Some of the ongoing guild events are Guild Beauty Rescue, Guild League, Drinking Games, and more. You must participate in these events to boost your strength and also get more resources. These can also appear as one of your main quests.
