How to play the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Advanced server easily (MLBB)

Advanced Server is a test server available in Mobile Legends used for Beta Testing new features, heroes, hero revamps, skins, and gameplay changes. The game has two servers, one is the original server where players worldwide can play and compete. The other server is the advanced server/test server to try out and test new features in the game.

Who is eligible to play in the Mobile Legends Advanced server

The Advanced Server opens on Thursdays when new updates come, granting access to approximately 40,000 players across 50-100 servers. Players who have met the following criteria can access the Advanced Server:

1. The account level is Lvl.15 or higher.
2. Internet connection is stable (Ping less than 100).
3. You must be from the Southeast Asia region.

You need to apply for the Advanced server after the server resets on Thursday: for my server, it resets around 1:30 PM IST. Make sure to check it and apply as soon as possible, as only 40,000 players can gain access each Thursday.

However, if you are still unlucky, you can compose an email to MLBB’s official email address to request access to the Advanced Server. If you are unsure how to write the email, you can find a draft on YouTube to help you.

How to enter the Advanced Server in MLBB

Before attempting to access the Mobile Legends Advanced Server, you should make sure that you bind your main account with your Facebook/GooglePlay/Vk account. Don’t forget to bind your accounts, as you could lose all your main account’s progress.

To enter the Advanced Server, please follow these instructions:

1. Go to the Profile section and select Account Settings.
2. Tap the Switch Server button at the bottom center of the screen to enter the Advanced server, provided you have already been approved.
3. You will find the Character List, where you need to select your Advanced server account to switch.
4. Please note that when switching to the Advanced Server, you will need to download all resources to try out all the new events and features.

Unable to access the Advanced Server

If you are unable to join the Advanced Server, it may be because the server is full. As mentioned earlier, the advanced server has a limited number of slots and fills up quickly. Or it may be simply because your internet connection is not fast.

In such cases, try switching your mobile network or using a fiber connection a fiber connection for more stable internet. Additionally, make sure to be active during the server reset time on Thursday to maximize your chances of applying for the Advanced Server first.

If you are still unable to access the server, you’ll need a special invitation from the game developers to join the Advanced Server. To receive this invitation, you need to play at least 2 hours a day, as invitations are sent based on player activity.

How to get back to Original Server from Advanced Server in Mobile Legends

• Returning to the original server is very straightforward. Simply follow the same steps you used to access the Advanced Server.
• Go into Profile> Account Settings> Original Server.
• You will return to your original account.
• Do remember you will need to download all the resources every time you switch between Advanced Server and Original Server.
