A guide to easily breed villagers in the game!

In Minecraft, the players need to collect items without being killed. Villagers are one of the mob with the help of whom, the players can get what they want. Getting items organically is difficult, so it’s always a better option to get them by breeding the villagers. There is a way to manipulate this stat to control when you want them to breed. And it is through giving them specific food items they need to breed. Our Minecraft guide will tell you which food items provide the highest increase in their willingness stat to hasten villagers breeding.

Carrots are easy to grow, planting one produces four carrots. They are present last in the list because they’re pretty useful otherwise. Having an excess of Carrots in inventory can turn out to be useful because it is also great for trading with farmers in exchange for 22 carrots, they give an emerald, which is a good deal. Rabbits are hard to catch, and the excess carrots can be utilized to catch them as well.

2. Beetroot

These are obtained from the village crop plot. These are not only useful for breeding but can also be used for trading with villagers. 15 beetroots can be exchanged for one emerald. To obtain beetroots one can build a crop farm away from the farmers, so they don’t harvest it when fully grown. This crop is overlooked but is very useful.

3. Bread

Wheat is the easiest crop to grow in Minecraft and so is acquiring its seeds. But the drawback is the villagers won’t take wheat. You need to process the wheat into bread, to breed them. One bread can be made out of 3 wheat. It can be a primary food source to keep the hunger points up and the health bar full. Bread is also the least needed food item. Three pieces of bread are enough to trigger the willingness of villagers to breed whereas you would need more other items to attract them. Bread is the easiest to manage among all other food items.

4. Potato

12 Potatoes are required to trigger the need to breed with another villager. These are a more available food item and have a 20% chance to appear on a village farm. But they are overall a weak food unless baked. When cooked, they become one of the best in the game. But otherwise, they don’t add much to the hunger points.

5. Sweet Berries

Sweet berries are a good source of food in Minecraft. But they are used to breed foxes or to set traps. Therefore, the Sweet berries can be fed to foxes to breed them. A baby fox bred by a player trusts the player and does not flee. The berries don’t even add up much to hunger points. Overall not a wise choice.
