How to add Friends in MONGIL: STAR DIVE

Before you can benefit from co-op features, you first need to build your friend list. Fortunately, MONGIL: STAR DIVE makes this process straightforward and accessible, even for beginners. So, you need to open the Friends Menu from the home screen.

This menu acts as your central hub for all social interactions in the game. Once inside, head over to the Add Friend tab. This is where you will find all the available options for connecting with other players. From here, you have two main ways to add friends.

First, you can use a Friend Code, which is the most direct method. If you already know someone you want to play with, simply enter their code into the search bar. Then, send them a friend request using the “Request Friend” button.

Alternatively, you can add players through the recommended friends list. This option is especially useful if you do not have real-life friends playing the game yet. The system will suggest active players, allowing you to quickly expand your network. This makes it easier to build a full friend list without needing external coordination.

After sending a request, there is one important step left. The other player must accept your request before you officially become friends. Until then, the request will remain pending. Also, you can accept or reject incoming requests through the Manage Friend Requests option in the Friends Menu.

How to play with Friends in MONGIL: STAR DIVE

Once you have friends added, the next step is understanding how to actually “play” with them. MONGIL: STAR DIVE does not rely on traditional co-op gameplay. Instead, it focuses on resource sharing, specifically through a system involving Keys.

Keys act as a valuable currency in the game. You use them to farm materials and resources, particularly in content like Paths. Because farming is a core part of progression, having a steady supply of Keys significantly improves your overall efficiency.

This is where friends come in. Through the Friends List, you can send and receive Keys daily. Each friend on your list has two buttons next to their name. One allows you to send Keys, while the other lets you claim Keys they have sent to you.

To make things even easier, the game includes Send All and Claim All options. These features save time and ensure you never miss out on daily rewards. Instead of manually interacting with each friend, you can handle everything in just a few taps.

However, there are limits you need to keep in mind. You can send up to 30 Keys per day and receive up to 20 Keys from friends. Because of this cap, having a full and active friend list becomes extremely important. The more active your friends are, the more consistently you will hit your daily Key limit.

So take the time to experiment, learn how your characters interact, and most importantly, build a team that feels fun and satisfying to play. And that’s it from our MONGIL: STAR DIVE Co-op Guide. For more guides, also check our other guides below:
