How to add friends in MONOPOLY GO
There are three ways in which you can add friends to the game. Sometimes you also get random suggestions on the section where you can click and add new friends. So, let us look in detail for doing the same.
1. Friends via Contacts
Not many are fans of such a system, but you have the chance to connect with friends via your number.
- Tap the Friends menu in the bottom-right corner and tap the Contacts option to connect with friends on your contact list.
- Tap the green Add Contacts button.
- Enter your phone number if prompted and tap Continue.
- Contacts playing Monopoly GO will be added immediately.
2. Connecting to Facebook
The second step is via Facebook. This is pretty simple as you already will connect the game via the app. If not, you need to connect to Facebook via the menu options and add friends already playing Monopoly GO.
- Tap the Friends menu in the bottom-right corner and tap the Facebook option.
- Click Allow for the permission prompt.
- Next, connect with friends on your Facebook friends list.
- Tap the Confirm button.
- Connect your Facebook account; friends playing Monopoly GO will be added instantly.
3. Invite
Here you need to send an installation link to friends, adding them to your Friends list when they play and install the game. The steps are given below.
- Tap the Friends menu in the bottom-right corner and tap the Invite option.
- Here, you will be able to Invite new friends who don’t play Monopoly GO. Read on-screen instructions for invite details.
- Select an invite button and send the invite to your friend.
- Once they install the game, you’ll automatically become friends.
Viewing and Managing friends in MONOPOLY GO
Once you’ve successfully added friends using any of the three methods given, you can easily view and manage your friends within the Friend menu itself. Simply click on the Friends icon as mentioned in the previous steps, and click on the leaderboard submenu to view the list of your friends and the levels they have reached in-game.
Should you wish to remove a friend, simply on their profile and a red remove button will pop up, and you have to click on it. It’s worth noting that the advantage you get by adding friends is the opportunity to earn free dice rolls, thus expanding your friends’ list using all three methods mentioned earlier would grant more rolls.
