Wooper is a Tier 4 Raid Boss in Pokémon Go. The Pokémon is debuting in Battle Raids as a part of the Wooper Community Day for this month. Defeating it during the Community Day will increase its spawning rate around gyms with the same shiny rate as during the Community Day hours. It’s not that tough of an opponent if you have the right counters for it. So in this Pokémon Go guide, we are going to talk about the best ways and counters using which you can defeat Wooper in the best way possible.
Wooper in Pokémon Go
Wooper is a dual-type Water and Ground Pokémon with a maximum CP of 725 at level 50. It is vulnerable to only Grass-type attacks and if you are a high-level player with optimal counters, you’ll be able to fight against Wooper all by yourself. Low-level players will need to bring a friend or two along with themselves to have the best chances of winning. You will also need Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes to join these raids as Remote Raid Passes won’t work over here.
Wooper Moveset

The best moves from the moveset of Wooper are Water Gun and Mud Bomb. Both of them have a combined DPS of 40.7 and it is also the best combination of moves that can be used in both Pokémon Gyms and PvP battles. Other decent attacks from its move pool include Mud Shot, Dig, and Body Slam.
