Another month has arrived and with that, a new challenge has arrived for Pokemon Go players. In May, players will have a lot to do because Team Go Rocket has come to create a menace. How to counter and defeat Sierra in Pokemon Go
Sierra’s first Pokemon
Sierra will begin her battles in May 2022 with Drowzee, a pure psychic type Pokemon, most likely to be the easiest matchup of the three. As a result, players should prepare Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type assaults to exploit Drowzee’s vulnerabilities. For her second duel, Sierra will have three options, Blaziken, Sharpedo, or Lapras. Sharpedo is vulnerable to Bug, Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Grass-type techniques as a Dark and Water-type Pokemon. Due to its extensive list of flaws and poor health, this is also the simplest of the three.

- Palkia with Dragon Tail fast attack and Draco Meteor for the Charged Attack.

- Alakazam with Confusion fast attack and Psychic for the Charged Attack.
- Hoopa with Confusion fast attack and Psychic for the Charged Attack.
- Espeon with Confusion fast attack and Psychic for the Charged Attack.
Sierra also has her extraordinarily Tanky Ice/ Water Type Pokemon, Lapras. While Lapras is particularly weak to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock-types, players should be aware that Grass and Rock-types can be countered by Lapras’ Ice attacks. Players should choose stronger Pokemon for this battle as Lapras may quickly kill Pokemon with low health.
- Magnezone with Spark fast attack and Wild Charge for the Charged Attack.
- Machamp with Counter fast attack and Cross Chop or Rock Slide for the Charged Attack.
- Melmetal with Thunder Shock fast attack and Superpower or Rock Slide for the Charged Attack.
- Raikou with Volt Switch fast attack and Wild Charge for the Charged Attack.
- Lucario with Counter fast attack and Aura Sphere for the Charged Attack.
- Zekrom with Charge Beam fast attack and Wild Charge for the Charged Attack.
- Conkeldurr with Counter fast attack and Dynamic Punch for the Charged Attack.
Sierra’s third Pokemon
Players will face another mystery battle for the third and final round after they have defeated two Pokemon. Sierra, like her other Leaders, has three possible Pokemon to choose from, and players won’t know which one it is until they reach this point. Players could see Houndoom, Shiftry, or Nidoqueen in May 2022. Here’s how to handle them all. The Dark/Fire Type Pokemon, Rhyperior is particularly weak in Fighting, Ground, Rock, and Water-type moves.
- Conkeldurr with Counter fast attack and Dynamic Punch or SmackDown for the Charged Attack.
- Machamp with Counter fast attack and Cross Chop or Rock Slide for the Charged Attack.
- Rampardos with SmackDown fast attack and Rock Slide for the Charged Attack.
- Rhyperior with SmackDown fast attack and Surf or Rock Wrecker for the Charged Attack.
- Kyogre with Waterfall fast attack and Hydro Pump for the Charged Attack.
- Groudon with Mud Shot fast attack and Earthquake for the Charged Attack.
Fairy, Fighting, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Fire-type moves work particularly well against the Grass/Dark Type Pokemon, Shiftry. Due to its low health compared to the other two, this Pokemon is also the most popular pick among many.
- Sylveon with Charm fast attack and Moonblast or Psyshock for the Charged Attack.
- Togekiss with Charm fast attack and Ancient Power or Flamethrower for the Charged Attack.
- Darmanitan with Fire Fang fast attack and Overheat for the Charged Attack.
- Hariyama with Counter fast attack and Close Combat or Heavy Slam for the Charged Attack.
- Clefable with Charm fast attack and Moonblast or Meteor Mash for the Charged Attack.

The Poison/Ground Type Pokemon, Nidoqueen is particularly weak to Ice, Psychic, Water, and Ground-type moves.
