Epic Games has finally confirmed the Fortnite x Ben 10 collaboration, with the first teaser making noise across social media. While the teaser itself didn’t reveal much, we can expect the transformation feature, along with diverse transformations for Ben 10. It is expected to go live this Friday!
We’re finally getting a Ben 10 transformation-driven Fortnite collab
So, Fortnite has finally listened to the community, and thanks to that, we’ll soon be able to transform like our childhood hero, Ben, in-game. As per the teaser, we can expect the skins to follow Fortnite’s cel-shaded look, similar to what we saw in My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and more such collabs.
From what I see, Ben’s design looks inspired by Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, coming along with his green jacket and obviously the Ultimatrix on his wrist. That said, Epic Games is yet to reveal more details about the collab besides the 10-second teaser, which has already managed to garner a lot of hype.
You can expect both Ben and Gwen to have multiple transformations
Now, leaks from the reliable leaker ShiinaBR suggest both cousins, Ben and Gwen Tennyson, will be part of the collab. And apparently, Ben could have two transformations while Gwen gets her Anodite form, along with the usual cosmetics like skins, backblings, pickaxes, kicks, and wraps.
Personally, this is one of those collabs that makes me feel very nostalgic, as I grew up with both worlds. And what excites me the most is the expectation of the transformation mechanic, since turning into Heatblast or Alien X in-game would be really cool, you know.
And if the leaked images end up real, we’re going to have a blast this Friday. With the game slowly coming back to both the Google Play Store and App Store, things are looking great.
