OneState RP is the latest social action–adventure from ChillBase, where you can create your own life in a modern Los Angeles-inspired city. In this OneState RP review, I will share my impressions of the game and provide an honest rating.
For this review, I played OneState RP on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (Android), logging 20 hours of playtime. This allowed me to fully explore and experience everything the game has to offer, giving me enough time for a fair and detailed review.
Freedom-driven gameplay with strong customization options
Starting with the review, let’s dive into the gameplay experience of OneState RP. So, you begin by picking your server and region, and then move into character creation, where you can customize a lot of details like age, appearance, outfit, and even emotes.

For me, the early experience was smooth, with straightforward tutorials guiding us through all the basics like driving and progression. Small touches like passports, driving licenses, and other documents actually made the roleplay experience feel more immersive, at least for me.
As you progress and increase your fame level and reputation in the city, you can go around buying cars in the dealerships, tuning them in tuning shops, or focus on growing your business for more passive income. You can also choose between joining a gang or a faction, such as the police. I personally leaned towards the gang side as there are more PvP activities, weapons, and rewards.
High replayability with constant activities and player interaction
I feel replayability is easily one of the strongest parts here. I mean, there is always something going on, from doing odd jobs like taxi driving or mining to taking part in world activities like Harbor Heist or Arsenal Raid. Or you can complete contracts, interact with random players, and enjoy the experience.

Moreover, the map is quite big and filled with useful locations, so you won’t get bored exploring the city. This is also why joining an active server with more than 500 players is really important, as you’ll keep running into new players and enjoy a fresh experience each time. Or you can just go around fighting and shooting gang members.
Decent visuals and solid audio, but not very realistic
Coming to the visual aspect, the game does a decent job, especially if you’re playing on Ultra settings. However, I’ll suggest you not try the game in the low graphics setting, as it looks very bad with grainy visuals. But the good news is it runs smoothly at 60 FPS, which is a major plus.

But the graphics still look a bit cartoonish, so don’t expect semi-realistic or high-end quality. What I mean is it does its job well, so you won’t have many issues. And as for audio, it fits well with the overall experience, thanks to all the environmental sound design and more.
Clean UI and surprisingly smooth controls for mobile
And as for UI, it is pretty easy to understand and follow, even though there is a lot happening on your screen. Well, the world chat on the screen can irritate you at times, but that is the case for most RPs, so you’ll get used to it as time passes. Overall, you won’t feel lost while navigating through all the options.

But I was genuinely surprised by the game’s controls, as I expected it to be like other titles. I found movement, driving, and even combat, both smooth and responsive. And I also didn’t run into any issues throughout my gameplay session, so I’m quite happy as someone who used to grind a lot in RP Grand.
Optional in-app purchases, but it gets expensive if you decide to spend
Like most modern games, OneState RP also offers a range of in-app purchases, letting you spend money on Cases, Tuning Cases, Services, Sales, and more. But you can enjoy a free-to-play approach like I’m doing right now, as the game doesn’t force you to buy anything.

That said, if you do decide to spend, I should warn you not to get used to the cheaper purchases, as it can get expensive real quick. The game also offers a lot of free stuff, too, like free Daily, Weekly, and Monthly packs from Sales, the Small Economy and Premium Cases from Tuning Cases, and even a Common Case from Cases.
Final Verdict
All in all, OneState RP actually brings an enjoyable role-playing experience to the table with a variety of activities, customization, content, and a solid social environment. While the visuals may lack in some departments, and the UI elements can feel cluttered, the smooth gameplay and overall freedom make up for it.
So, if you like online RP games where you can live as you want, interact with real players every day, and explore a vast city, then you should surely try OneState RP. And with active servers holding 500-plus members, you’ll rarely feel bored.
