Pokémon Go Sliggoo Raid: Best Moveset, Counters and Tips

Guide for the best counters against Sliggoo during Battle Raids!

Sliggoo is a Tier 4 Raid Boss who is a part of the Goomy Community Day in Pokémon Go. It is a purple gooey like Pokémon which looks similar to a snail. Even though most of its body is purple, its underbelly is a shade of deeper purple when compared to the top part of its body. Even though it is a Tier 4 Raid, it won’t be much of a problem if you are smart with your attacks and are carrying the right counters. So in this Pokémon Go guide, we are going to talk about the best moves and counters that will help you defeat Sliggoo in the best way possible.

Sliggoo in Pokémon Go

Sliggoo is a pure Dragon-type Pokémon with a maximum CP of 2303 at level 50. It is weak towards Dragon, Fairy, and Ice-type attacks. I’ll recommend you to go in groups of a minimum of two to three players even if you have the best counters. This will seal your victory and you will be able to win against Sliggoo easily. If have less optimal counters, take up to four to five friends as a part of your team along with yourself.

The best moves from the movepool of Sliggoo include Tackle and Dragon Pulse. Both of them have a combined DPS of 40. It is also the best combination of moves that you can use in both Pokémon Gyms and PvP battles. Other decent options that I’ve found to be useful from the moveset of Sliggoo include the likes of Water Gun, Sludge Wave, Water Pulse, and Muddy Water.
