PUBG Mobile or BGMI: What is Haptic Feedback System and how to enable it

Experience gaming like never before!

PUBG Mobile or BGMI has recently released its 2.0 version update. Many new features came with that version, one of them being the physical Haptic Feedback feature. Haptic feedback will give players a more realistic gaming experience. In this article, we are going to discuss the new Haptic Feedback System of PUBG Mobile and ways to enable this feature.

Haptic Feedback feature: Overview

To understand this new feature properly, players need to know about the haptics. Haptic technology, also known as kinaesthetic communication or 3D-touch, refers to any technology that can create an experience of touch by applying forces, vibrations, or motions to the user.

These technologies can be used to create virtual objects in a computer simulation, control virtual objects, and enhance the remote control of machines and devices (telerobotics).

Haptic devices may incorporate tactile sensors that measure forces exerted by the user on the interface. The word haptic, came from the Greek word haptikos, which meanstactile, pertaining to the sense of touch. Simple haptic devices are common in the form of game controllers, joysticks, and steering wheels.

The haptic feedback system in PUBG Mobile is very interesting. This new feature will enrich the gaming experience more than ever. When haptic feedback is enabled, players will feel haptic feedback for various actions taken in the game.

Real-time haptic feedback can be enabled for weapons, vehicles, character statuses, sound visualization, and triggers. It will give players a more immersive experience of the game. When it is enabled, if a mentioned activity is done, players’ phones will react with vibration. This phone vibration will give players a better realistic experience. Firing guns will lead to the most vibration.

How to enable the haptic feedback system in PUBG Mobile

To enable this feature, players will have to open the settings section in the main game lobby. After opening it, players will see a tab named Haptic feedback.

After selecting that tab, two buttons will pop up, by clicking those buttons, a player will be able to enable the haptic feedback feature on their mobile devices. Though enabling this feature will cause more battery drainage, players should keep that in their minds.
