StarSavior is a new RPG from the developer of Counter:Side, Studio Bside, where you lead the Saviors and inherit the StarSavior’s power. If you are a new Savior and are looking for the support cards, then this Arcana Tier List for StarSavior is for you. This tier list follows the global release.

Ranking the Arcanas based on their role and utility in StarSavior
The game is a mix of Umamusume and Honkai Star Rail, along with rogue-like character builder and turn-based combat, which are two separate game types in the same game. In StarSavior, you have to train a Savior in the NOA Academy by going through Journey Careers and then use the newly trained Savior in different PVP and PVE game modes.
You can’t just level up the saviors and put them in teams and hope for the best. The game runs on the Arcana card system, which is similar to Umamusume’s Support Card System. The game will then take your trained Savior as a relic to be used as an Artifact to boost your main Savior and get the team and their abilities boosted and ready for action. I will absolutely recommend using only your resources on meta-tier units and cards, as the game has PvP and has meta designs in place.

My tier list ranking is based on the Global server with all new event SSR and SR arcanas added. The tier list will have 5 categories to work with: S, A, B, C, and D based on Strength, Health, Endurance, Focus, and Protection in PvP and PvE modes.

Best Arcana Cards in StarSavior Overview
The game has 5 Different arcana classes so far: Strength, Health(Vitality), Endurance, Focus, and Protect. Other than classes, there are 5 different Elements the characters use. They are Sun, Moon, Star, Order, and Chaos. Although there are only two savior grades in the game, SSR and SR, this will affect how good cards are lining up for you.
So, choosing the right Savior based on the utility type is also key to having a winning team. Whether you’re pushing through PvP mode or clearing story content, these are the best picks for each class type if you want to dominate every type of mode and keep your NOA academy progression on top.
Best S-tier Arcanas in StarSavior
No Pain No Gain and The Indomitable Masterpiece for Strength
The No Pain No Gain arcana is one of the main Power boosting cards that is currently on top of the meta list, thanks to its Attack Increase of 6% and Crit Rate 6% Increasing Stats. The other Main option for Power boosting is the Indomitable Masterpiece, which increases Crit Dmg by 12% and Max HP by 4%. Both are must-haves for DPS and PvP-oriented players looking to build a team that can dominate the ranks.
A Knight’s Oath and Young Lady of Stranis for Vitality
Young Lady of Stranis increases Max HP by 8%, which is a big amount for Tanky characters building. Meanwhile, the A Knight’s Oath increases Max SPD by 8, which can factor in who will strike first in any modes. It is crucially helpful for PvP fights, as whoever starts the first fight has essentially won the entire fight.
Nostalgia Strikes Back for Endurance
The Main card of Hilde is only available during the collaboration. Nostalgia Strikes Back is the only available card in the game that increases your guard counter chance. It helps to turn the tide by first striking enemies, as this card adds a solid power to counter hit back at the first attacker for a 20% chance.
Made by Petra for Focus
The best SSR card for increasing crit rate currently in the game by far. Made by Petra is the best card if you are looking to increase your Saviors crit rate, as the card gives 18% crit rate increase. This card is crucial in dropping bombastic DPS checks on PvP enemies when they are not expecting it.
A Satisfying Meal for Protection
If you want to make your tank a more powerful defensive tool, then A Satisfying Meal is the card you need. This card gives you a massive Max Toughness increase of 2 % with Crit Damage Resistance increase of 20%, critically helpful in clutch situations in PvP fights, as they are real-time, and matchmaking always gives me surprises. This card counters these nasty surprises.
Final Thoughts
The current Starsavior PvP meta is heavily centered around the game’s new characters, who are designed with explosive kits and high-scaling damage potential, but often require very specific SSR support units to reach their full strength.
