Meta Classes in Tales of Wind: Radiant Rebirth

Summoner – The Best Beginner Class

If you’re just starting, Summoner is hands down the best choice. The ability to summon minions that tank damage and heal themselves makes solo content a breeze. Arama, the Summoner’s primary familiar, can take aggro, has built-in self-healing, and can even become immune for 3 seconds.

This essentially gives you two characters in one, making it the ideal pick from levels 1-80 for PvE. However, in PvP, Summoner struggles against high burst damage classes like Ninja. It remains viable but isn’t as dominant. Late game (beyond level 120), Summoner starts to fall off, but for new players, it’s the ultimate class for farming resources efficiently.

Ninja (Assassin Advanced Class) – PvP Monster

If you want to dominate in PvP, Ninja is broken. It has amazingly high critical hit rates, and extreme mobility, and can dodge attacks effortlessly. While squishy, a skilled Ninja player can eliminate opponents before they even react.

Early game, Ninja might feel underwhelming, but once you invest in Awakening and Stigma, it transforms into a beast.

Warrior (Berserker Path) – The Balanced Powerhouse

Berserker sacrifices defense for high AoE damage. If you like fast-paced melee combat with high sustain, this class is for you. Warriors also have the option to go Paladin, which turns them into an unkillable tank, perfect for team play.

While not as self-sufficient as Summoner in solo play, Warriors hold their own in every aspect of the game.

Mage (Pyromancer Path) – AoE Nuke Machine

Pyromancer is a high-damage glass cannon. If you enjoy unleashing devastating AoE spells and obliterating enemies in one go, this is the class for you.

The downside? Squishiness. If enemies get too close, you’re in trouble. However, Pyromancer excels in both PvE and PvP when played correctly.

Samurai (Kensei Path) – Burst Damage Expert

Samurai is a high-risk, high-reward class. Kensei lets you unleash quick, powerful strikes that can delete enemies in an instant.

However, Samurai has a skill ceiling, requiring precise execution. If you’re up for the challenge, it’s an amazing class, but it’s not as forgiving as others.

Twinstar – The Ultimate Support/DPS Hybrid

Twinstar can switch between offensive and support roles, making it incredibly flexible. In the right hands, Twinstar can be invaluable to a team, but solo players might struggle. If you like playing a jack-of-all-trades, Twinstar is a solid choice.

Cleric (Priest Path) – The Best Support, But Slow for Solo Play

Priests are essential for team play with their healing and buffs, but they lack damage, making solo progression painfully slow. If you plan to party often, Priest is amazing, but if you’re playing solo, you might want to consider other options.

Final Thoughts

After playing through the game, Summoner stands out as the best overall class for beginners due to its self-sufficiency, easy solo play, and farming potential. However, if you’re more focused on PvP, Ninja is completely overpowered and should be your go-to.

Ultimately, the best class depends on your playstyle, so choose wisely! Let me know what your favorite class is in Tales of Wind: Radiant Rebirth!
