The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is the new open-world action RPG from Netmarble, where you go on a new adventure set across the beloved universe of Seven Deadly Sins. In this The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Currency Farming guide, I will show you all the ways to farm Star Fragments.
Star Fragments are the gacha free-to-play currency in the game, and you can earn a lot more by checking out the Twitch drop event and learn how to claim rewards like Gold, Regular Hero Draw Ticket, and claiming a great number of rewards from our redeem codes article. See what launch rewards you will be getting here.
All Currencies in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and how to get them

Apart from those two gacha currencies, the game also has 1 other currency (Gold Coins) that is mainly used in many RPG-related mechanics.
Both of these currencies are highly important, and it’s crucial to farm them efficiently if you want to reach the endgame faster and build more characters in quick succession. The gold coins are what you need to buy weapons and armour from traders and to level up everything.
How to obtain currencies in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin
1. Main story and side quests
Completing different main quests will reward you with both Draw Tickets and Star Fragments once per objective completion. Doing the entire chapter will give you enough to do a 10x Draw Tickets for the standard banner. And, you can use Star Fragments to get Draw Tickets from the shop. For each Draw, you need 300 Star Fragments. 3000 Star Fragments are needed for 10x Draws.

Challenges are part of mission rewards that get unlocked the more you progress through the story, and they give a lot of rewards per page of Challenge missions you do. The mission gets harder as you progress through the game’s content and story, but so do the rewards, so it’s always good to keep their objectives in mind when playing the game.
2. World Exploration and Daily Activities
Just like many other 3D open-world gacha games, the world of Seven Deadly Sins provides you with a lot of chests to find, items to hunt, bases to repair, people to help, and a large world to explore so you can keep your kingdom of Liones safe. While doing any of these activities, you will always get Star Fragments in small amounts.

Doing daily activities will give you 120 Star Fragments, and they are fairly easy to do, too. But you have to progress through the story to unlock the daily activity section. Once unlocked, the game reminds you to claim your daily activity reward, and it currently stands as one of the best viable Star Fragments farming methods.
3. Clearing the game events
The game is offering a lot of beginner-friendly events and rewards. If you have just started playing, it offers you a 7-day beginner tutorial that you can follow to get SSR Character Guila with her SSR weapon, character level-up materials, and, even more importantly, it will give you the draw tickets by logging in daily. I had gotten enough rewards to do a 10 Draws on the standard character banner and got an S-tier character, King.

The event is permanently available, so you won’t have to miss out on anything when playing or logging in later. The trials of progression and Run Together are the other events that directly award 10x Headhunting per objective completed. You can earn a lot of draw tickets and Star Fragments from these events.
4. Clearing Codex entries
The game features a Codex journal book similar to a Pokedex from Pokémon games. In here, you put all the records of characters, items, enemies, and weapons that you encounter. While exploring the kingdom of Liones and the world of Seven Deadly Sins, the codex will write down what you have done so far.

There are 2 types of Codex in the game. One is the traditional Codex, with the Special Codex being the reward section, which also writes down our encounters. The other is called Book of Stars, which keeps track of our main account level and world level.
There is no Catheryne from Genshin Impact here to give you daily rewards or account level-up rewards. It’s all collected from this Specialised Codex.
5. Redeem Codes and Promo Offers
Another excellent source of currencies and other rewards comes from redeeming codes. These codes are often time-limited or tied to specific events, so it pays to stay plugged into the community. Make sure to check our redeem codes guide to take full advantage of these codes.
6. Always check your in-game Mail

Your in-game Mailbox is a treasure chest that many may overlook, but it’s one of the easiest ways to earn free star fragments and draw tickets with additional materials without grinding. Devs frequently send out rewards as part of update compensations, milestone celebrations, or maintenance rewards.
Final Thoughts
My personal recommendation is getting a character with the currencies you enjoy rather than a “meta” character. Keep in mind that none of the options is “bad,” and you won’t brick your account if you end up getting one of them, except for Guila; just reroll at that point. All beginner characters are great, as the game focuses greatly on Teams instead of the Individual Performance of each character.
