Back in October, we reported that Meltdown map in COD Mobile was being tested. So, after the inclusion of Summit map in season 2, once again Activision has confirmed the inclusion of another map in Call of Duty Mobile. The Meltdown Map will be the latest addition to the usual rotation of offerings being brought in this season as confirmed by Activision.
What do we know about the Meltdown map in COD Mobile?
Call of Duty Mobile developers teased the new map on their official Facebook page and it has been correctly identified as the Meltdown Map. This map was first introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The map sees players fight it out in a nuclear powerplant located in Pakistan. And it is said to encourage medium to close range engagements.
Since the Meltdown Map is pretty large, which is just the opposite of recently introduced Cage Map, this will be a great place for Snipers.
What map of Gameplay map is it?
Unfortunately Meltdown Map will not be a part of Battle Royale. Activision has confirmed that Meltdown Map will be an addition to the Multiplayer section of Call of Duty Mobile.
When will we see the Meltdown map release?
As of now , Activision has not confirmed any date of launch of this map for the gamers. But as the official Activision page has already started giving glimpses of the new Meltdown Map, so players may see it in the game very soon. Probably, in the next season.
Here is a gameplay video of Meltdown map that you can see. It was surfaced during the time when we first reported about the map.
