ALICE Fiction: WonderPlanet’s latest RPG set in the metaverse is scheduled for a summer 2022 release

The game may start of from Crash Fever as they have their own Alice in the game

WonderPlanet has announced their latest work ALICE Fiction for Summer 2022 release on Android and iOS. The game is set to release globally including in Japan, English-speaking regions, and South Korea. The makers have released an official teaser trailer that accompanies the announcement along with a song performed by Fantastic Youth.

ALICE Fiction is set in the backdrop of the vast metaverse

The mobile game is supposed to be set in a virtual space ie metaverse known as Alice. In the teaser video released by the developers, they revealed a video previewing the game’s worldview and its theme song “Non-reality escape” performed by FantasticYouth. The game’s official website and Twitter have been set up but at present, they still don’t have much information at present in them.

The company’s website revealed to everyone that ALICE Fiction, which was previously code-named Delight is slated to be the company’s first worldwide simultaneous release title, made possible by utilizing resources from its Nagoya and Tokyo teams and bringing together their work.

The genre is supposed to be an RPG in Wonder Metaverse. Presumably, the game will consist of overarching themes along with characters from their previous releases, and hopefully not from the ones that people will be upset about.

Players can expect a closed beta test soon prior to the full release

Prior to its launch, a closed beta test is also supposed to be carried out to allow players to experience the game earlier before its original release and provide helpful feedback so that the developers can come back with an even better version of the game from the beginning itself.

The gameplay of the game is yet to be revealed but we can assume that the basic recommended specifications to run the game will be iOS 11 or above, and Android 5 or above. Other titles under WonderPlanet include Jumputi Heroes, Crash Fever, and Konosuba Fantastic Days, so if players have enjoyed any of these works, this might be worth keeping an eye out for. Crash Fever in particular has its own ‘Alice’, so the thread might begin there.
