The brand-new Hyperbeat event for Apex Legends Mobile has been announced by Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment. Tomorrow, August 23, 2022, is the official premiere of the Hyperbeat Event, which has a tonne of exciting new features to check out. The Hyperbeat Event will feature improvements to fundamental systems, a brand-new ranked split, new events, and Legend Crypto in addition to everything else. At 5:00 PM PDT on August 23, the celebration formally begins.
Introducing Crypto, a brilliant hacker and encryption expert
Crypto is a smart hacker and encryption specialist who specializes in secrets. Fans may already be familiar with him, but for the uninitiated, he is known as Crypto. His airborne drones, which have been updated for Apex Legends Mobile so that they can automatically follow Crypto and monitor close foes for extended periods of time, are the foundation of his powers.
These drones covertly observe their rivals in the Apex Arena in order to learn their secrets. Crypto, however, is not without his own secrets. He has three key abilities including:
- Passive: Neurolink – Enemies and traps detected by your surveillance Drone are marked for your squad within 30 meters range.
- Tactical: Surveillance Drone – Deploy a pilotable drone to surveil your surroundings. The drone detects enemy squads and battlefield hazards.
- Ultimate: Drone EMP – Your Drone sets off an EMP blast that deals Shield damage, slows enemies, and disables traps.
Crypto also features a set of unique Legend Perks, which include:
- Self Destruct: Destroyed drones explode after 3s, slowing and damaging enemies caught in the blast.
- Hidden User: Become semi-transparent when controlling drones.
- System Scan: Your drone reveals an enemy’s HP and armor after 3s of scanning.
- Shut Down: Your Ultimate also damages HP but cannot kill an enemy.
- Lag Bomb: Your drone can launch an EMP bomb that slows and deals damage.
- Salvage Operation: Your drone can retrieve items.
- Battle Adaptation: Using your Finisher adds 100 points to your EVO Shield.
- Restart: Using your Finisher instantly repairs your drone or reduces your Ultimate cooldown by 30%.
- Interrogator: Using your Finisher reveals the location of your target’s squad on the mini-map.
Hyperbeat event will bring a new Battle Pass and map updates
The Kings Canyon improvements for Apex Legends Mobile will also include a new town takeover in the Pythas Theater, where players must battle their way through Rhapsody’s POI-altering song to receive their prize. Additionally, Kings Canyon now has new VIP supply bins where players may pick up their VIP cards and have access to crates with potent equipment.
Apex Legends Mobile is releasing a new ranked split and more Ranked Rewards with the release of Hyperbeat. With that, the game will reset the player’s rank similarly to how it did at the start of Distortion -that is, like the reset that took place at the start of the previous season. Higher rankings will also have access to new Ranked prizes. In addition to all this great new content coming to Apex Legends Mobile, EA is also introducing a host of improvements, and updates that can be found in the game’s official patch notes here.
