Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Esports, created in 2016 and the first French club to enter into the esports scene, is going to expand its territory in Thailand by creating a new Arena of Valor team and will participate in the RoV Pro League from August 2021.
The RoV Pro League scene is massive in Thailand, as it has 37 million registered players in the country. This summer, the Pro League will enter its 18th season. Alongside the PSG Esports team, two other football clubs will fight in the RoV Pro League in Thailand.
PSG Esports aims to hype up the esports scene in Thailand
Arena of Valor is one of the most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games in Asia, and particularly in Thailand. Recently, the AWC franchise successfully hosted the Arena of Valor World Cup 2021, its largest tournament so far. The online tournament created a record with over 118 million cumulative views. However, the RoV Pro League in Thailand is owned and operated by video game developers and publisher Garena.

Apart from their team participation in the tournaments, the organization is stepping forward with several other goals.
