Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a new Taiko No Tatsujin game titled Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythm Connect. It is a rhythm game and will see release in certain Asian countries; Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macao and will be available in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.
Rhythm Connect will bring classic Taiko No Tatsujin gameplay and music from Bandai’s other titles
The game will be playable in portrait mode and feature over 600 songs at launch from popular artists from Vocaloid music to classical, and Game music from Bandai Namco’s other games for players to experience the classic Taiko no Tatsujin gameplay and challenge their friends.
To play the game, all you need to do is tap the screen according to the rhythm. To hit the larger beats, you can use two fingers to tap simultaneously on either the drum or its borders for the blue beats. When you start the game, you can scroll through a list of songs and select one by moving up or down.
Occasionally, a new song will be added to the list for players to discover on the home screen. Once a song is selected, you can view its beat map and rankings or leave a comment based on your experience with the track. The game will be available as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases. You can easily bind your account using the Thai and Indonesian versions of LINE, and Facebook.
Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythm Connect will be available on both Android and iOS devices in the Asian countries of Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macao but has no release date as of now. Interested players can also visit the official Facebook page for more information on the game.
