Battle Stars releases new Battle Royale mode to celebrate its 2 million player milestone

A brand new massive battle royale mode featuring Mumbai Map!

In just three weeks since its release on the App Store and Google Play, the Made in India hero shooter Battle Stars has amassed more than 2 million players globally. A brand-new battle royale mode for Battle Stars is now available on iOS and Android as a way to commemorate this achievement, according to creator SuperGaming.

Battle Stars’ battle royale mode features the Mumbai-inspired map called ‘Amchi Mumbai’

Players will select their favorite Battle Star, descend onto the Mumbai map known as “Amchi Mumbai,” and shoot to survive while avoiding a storm that decreases the map to be the last Battle Star standing in the battle royale mode of Battle Stars.

The terrain has been altered to reflect the sensibilities of the battle royale subgenre and offers a variety of pick-ups, including health, ammo, and speed enhancements. The game now features Divya and Veer, two new heroes based in the city of Mumbai. Veer uses his boombox to drop adversaries while Divya engulfs her enemies in flames hotter than a Mumbai summer. The game also brings new skins for Techno Gamerz’s hero (Desi Techno, Ujjwal, and Hip Hop Techno) with the battle royale update.

We are humbled by the response to Battle Stars, especially thanks to Techno Gamerz and his many fans who expressed their support by downloading the game on launch day. Now that the game has more than two million players and is still growing in less than a month, it is the ideal time to introduce battle royale. We’ve been internally testing the mode for a while, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did while creating it.

On iOS and Android, updates to the game that add battle royale and new heroes drop are now live along with a new seasonal battle pass. For iOS users, Battle Stars may be found on the Today Tab of the App Store as well as in the Browse part of Apple Music, where it is the featured title of the Apple Music Gaming playlist.

Players from the Season 1 leaderboard and some community members are invited to meet Techno Gamerz

Players are vying for the top spot on the leaderboard in Battle Stars Season 1 to meet Techno Gamerz in person. Players of Battle Stars have logged approximately 3.7 million matches and about two million hours over the past three weeks.

The top player in Season 1 has participated in an incredible 8,942 games. On June 10 in Mumbai, Techno Gamerz and the SuperGaming team will host a Battle Stars tournament for the top competitors from the Season 1 leaderboard as well as a few members of the community.
