- Warzone Mobile servers officially shutting down on April 17, 2026.
- Online matchmaking and live support will permanently end.
- Game was previously delisted from Google Play and App Store.
After previously announcing that the game would be delisted from app stores and stop receiving updates, Activision has confirmed the final step: COD Warzone Mobile’s servers will go offline on April 17, 2026. Once that happens, online matchmaking and live access will no longer be available.
In their latest statement, Activision thanked the community that supported the game but made it clear that their focus remains on Call of Duty: Mobile, which continues to receive active support and updates.
A brief Google Play pre-registration caused confusion about Warzone Mobile’s possible return
To rewind a bit, back in 2025, Activision announced that Warzone Mobile would be removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The game stopped receiving seasonal content and major updates, and real-money purchases were disabled.
Players who had the game installed before its removal were allowed to keep playing online, with cross-progression intact. Servers stayed up, matchmaking continued, and existing content remained accessible.
But now, with the April 17, 2026, shutdown date confirmed, that remaining online support is coming to an end as well. Once servers go dark, Warzone Mobile will no longer be playable in its intended online format.
Interestingly, there was a brief and confusing moment after the delisting when Warzone Mobile reappeared on the Google Play Store with pre-registration live again. That sudden listing sparked speculation that Activision might be planning a relaunch or revival of this high-potential title.

However, it now appears that this was simply a Google Play Store backend push for those who previously installed it, rather than an actual comeback. No official relaunch plans were ever confirmed, and the iOS store page never went live again.
