Devolver Digital has announced that their reverse horror action title, Carrion is set to launch on mobile, and pre-registration is now available on both Android and iOS. You can sign up for the game via your respective Google Play Store and App Store.

Carrion is a reverse horror action game developed by Phobia Game Studio that won the EuroGamer Editor’s Choice Award E3 2019, Best in Show gamescom 2019, and Best Indie Game in 2018 (Digital Dragon Indie Showcase 2018), among other awards and nominations.
In this game, you take on the role of an amorphous creature of mysterious origin. Transform into the monster, stalk, and devour the scientists and others who imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility.
You will also have the opportunity to grow and evolve as you devour those scientists, break down the prison, and gain increasingly devastating abilities on your path to retribution. I am enjoying the old pixel-days vibes the game brings with its art style and gameplay.

I am pretty excited to try it out now that it is finally coming to mobile devices on Android and iOS. The downside is that while you can try out the game for free without ads, you need to purchase the full version plus DLC in a singular app purchase. On the bright side, there won’t be any in-game transactions as the game doesn’t offer any gems, hearts, or virtual currency.
Carrion has launched pre-registration for both Android and iOS. You can sign up through your respective Google Play Store or App Store. While an official release date hasn’t been announced, the App Store listing indicates that the game is expected to launch on October 31, 2024. It is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
