Civilization VI is finally released on Android two years after its iOS launch

Time to build your empire!

American video game developer and publisher Aspyr Media, Inc. has finally released Civilization VI on Android. Android players will get the opportunity to build the greatest empire after two years of its launch on iOS.

It will be the first free-to-play strategy game by Aspyr Media but for full turns, you have to pay. The players will get the first 60 turns for free and then they can purchase everything for $19.99 to unlock the whole experience. The in-app purchase also allows local multiplayer support with other iOS and Android devices. Check the launch trailer below:

Sid Meier’s Civilization series is popularly known for making history and now the players will have the opportunity to make history again. Civilization VI was first released on PC in 2016 and since then it has been brought to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS and Nintendo Switch. Now, after two years of waiting for the port, Civilization VI is now finally released on Google Play for Android users.


What is Civilization VI all about?

Civilization VI is a turn-based strategy game where the motive is to start an empire from a single city. The players have to collect all the available resources, expand to more cities, and continue exploring for infrastructure. The players will have the option of either trade or war.
