Clash of Clans Global Chat might have had a lot of memories stitched for a player, but as for current news, it will not be coming back. However, the Clan Chat system is set to get a revamp soon, with the Clash of Clans team taking a proactive approach by sharing a survey with players. This survey allows players to cast their votes on the essential improvements they wish to see in the future.

In 2019, the global chat was removed after seven years in existence. One of the main functions that Global Chat provides is a channel for Clans to find new recruits. However, over the years, the chat system was a place of filth that nobody wanted to hang around, filled with spam and fraudulent messages, ultimately leading to its demise.
To fill the place of global chat, which isn’t easy, Clash of Clans followed a good number of updates. However, the system remained the same and you can’t say the current system is good enough for the clans as there are several shortcomings. However, the dev team looks to change this in the revamp and is expecting players to share their feedback. Players can head to the survey and vote here.
What to expect from the Clash of Clans Clan Chat revamp
The survey options provide players with a glimpse into the potential revamp of the Clan Chat feature. By presenting various proposed improvements and asking players to vote on their level of excitement for each option, the Clash of Clans team can gauge the community’s preferences and expectations.
From the looks of the survey, we can say that the team is thinking big with the revamp. There have been options such as Reply, Emotes, and Chat Tabs added, which will be extremely beneficial to the clan members’ management. For example, Chat Tabs would be a massive help to queue the general chat on one side whereas the donation requests can easily be accessible.
The upcoming Clan Chat revamp appears promising and player-centric, with the team actively seeking feedback to prioritize the most desirable improvements. Although we don’t have when this might go live, the interest seems to be a tad bit higher.
