Clash of Clans March 2025 update: All new arrivals and upgrades explained

New Troop: Furnace
If you’ve been playing Clash Royale, you must have encountered Furnace. Well, the same card will be making its entry to Clash of Clans. If you ask me, this card is more like a Siege Machine. Well, confused? Read its description to understand the comparison.

This card when deployed stays in one place and continuously spawns small fire-based units called Firemites (comparison to Fire Spirits). They will keep releasing Firemites over 60 seconds, with each level increasing the number and strength of the spawned units.
However, the Furnace slowly damages itself over time, and if it gets destroyed early, any remaining Firemites are lost. Interestingly, if the Furnace is healed, it will stop spawning Firemites once fully restored.
Furnace Level | Laboratory Level | Hitpoints | Firemite Count | Firemite Level | Firemite Hitpoints | Firemite Damage | Firemite Max Damage per Second |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | NA | 1530 | 19 | 1 | 250 | 50 | 100 |
2 | 13 (TH15) | 1620 | 20 | 2 | 275 | 60 | 120 |
3 | 14 (TH16) | 1710 | 21 | 3 | 300 | 70 | 135 |
4 | 15 (TH17) | 1800 | 22 | 4 | 325 | 80 | 150 |
New Pet: Sneezy
Announcing a new arrival is Sneezy. Closely looking like a bat, this flying pet follows closely behind its Hero, acting as a support rather than an attacker. Instead of dealing damage itself, Sneezy spawns tanky air units called Snotties, which help shield the Hero from incoming threats.

However, if the Hero is defeated, Sneezy is enraged visibly. Due to this, it starts directly attacking enemy defenses. The pet deals single-target damage to both ground and air units and spawns two units at all levels.
Sneezy stats are below.
- Favorite target: Defenses
- Damage type: Single Target
- Targets: Ground & Air
- Movement speed: 24
Snotties:
- Damage type: Single Target
- Targets: Groupd & Air
- Movement speed: 16

New Equipment: Noble Iron

For the Minion Prince, we are getting a new Hero Equipment. Noble Iron comes across as a passive ability, which deals extra damage, travels faster, and has an extended range similar to the ability of the Super Minion.
You can unlock this ability once you reach Blacksmith level 5, which becomes available at Town Hall 12.
No more training times and Matchmaking Changes
As the Troop, Spell, and Siege Machine Training times are being removed, the Training Potion, Training Treat, and Training Boost perks have also been removed. Since these are part of the Gold Pass rewards, a Donation Request Reduction perk (explained in the below sections) will replace the Training Boost.
With no training times, matchmaking got some tweaks. Now, when you get a Shield (from a defense or buying one), a clone of your base will enter matchmaking. If an attacker defeats this clone, it disappears, but here’s the best part:
- Attackers still get loot and trophies from clone bases.
- Defenders don’t lose any loot or trophies when their clone base is attacked.
- Matchmaking will always prioritize real player bases, so clones will only appear when there aren’t enough real bases available.
New Feature: Army Recipes
Army Training is now easier than ever with the introduction of Army Recipes. You can save, edit, and use your favorite army setups without having to train troops manually. Army Recipes will be available starting March 27, 2025. You can also share your army setups with friends and clanmates.

Donations and Clan Perks Changes
With Training Times removed, Clan Castle donations now cost Elixir or Dark Elixir, depending on the troop or spell you donate.
Clan Perks are also getting an upgrade! The Donation request wait time is now 10 minutes for everyone, and some Clan Level perks have been adjusted for better rewards:
- Tier 1: Request Timer set to 10 minutes
- Tier 2: Donate up to 10 Troops

- Tier 4: Donate up to 15 Troops

New Gold Pass Reward: Donation Request Reduction
A new Donation Request Reduction Perk is coming to the Gold Pass, replacing the Training Boost perks. This perk reduces the cooldown between Clan Castle troop requests with three levels:
- Level 1: 30% time reduction
- Level 2: 60% time reduction
- Level 3: 80% time reduction
Alongside this, multiple balance changes, economy changes, and bug fixes will be arriving to the game.
