The October 2023 season theme was already Halloween, or as we like to call it in Clash of Clans, ‘Clash-O-Ween.’ You might recall that when the monthly event calendar was released, a mysterious cover was shared with the Friday the 13th banner without revealing the details of what to expect. However, now, we’ve received official confirmation about the upcoming event, and it looks fantastic.
Sour Elixir
So, the burning question is, what exactly is Mashup Madness? Well, this event is a clever twist on the classic Clash of Clans principle. In the past, you’d typically be looting gold or elixir, but this Halloween, things take a different turn, and you’ll be on the hunt for something unique: the Sour Elixir.
What’s the advantage, you ask? Well, the real perk here is that you can claim a plethora of rewards by collecting Sour Elixir during the event. To kick things off, when you log into the game on the event day, you’ll receive a Sour Elixir Cauldron, which serves as the generator for Sour Elixir. You’ll start with a generous 2400 Sour Elixir, and to unlock more, you’ll need to go out and loot.
New Event Troops
What is the fun if you don’t receive some new troops for the event, right? Well, here you do have some unlocking to do and will present four temporary Clash-O-Ween troops, which are a fusion of two troops each. They are called Barcher, Hog Wizard, Lavaloon, and Witch Golem. No rewards for guessing which two troops have been combined for these four each.
Rewards
Events are there to distribute rewards, and this event doesn’t shy in that department. Sour Elixir and Mashup Medals are your gateway for rewards, which you can claim by attacking bases. If you fill the Sour Elixir bar, you will be able to get more Mashup Medals.
You can have boosts as one of your rewards, whereas some premium rewards include the Ghost Queen legendary skin, which you can trade by using the Mashup Medals, a total of 4650. Apart from that, you can claim your hands on Magic Books, Resources, Decorations, and more.
