Clash Royale arrived with the September 2024 Season 63 update last week, and one of the main takeaways of the update was the arrival of the two major Card Evolution in P.E.K.K.A. and Mega Knight. While the former was released as the Season began, Mega Knight was yet to arrive. To everyone’s surprise, Mega Knight Evolution has arrived for free, and I will explain exactly how to unlock the same in Clash Royale.
How to get the Mega Knight Evolution for free in Clash Royale
Although he also has no change with the stats, the Mega Knight Evo card triggers his Mega Uppercut ability with each attack. This knocks back the target by 4 tiles towards the nearest enemy Crown Tower, good enough to trigger his jump attack. With 1 Cycle activation, this evolution comes every second cycle.
It is surprising to see that Mega Knight, which arrives as the first Legendary card with the Evolution update is being gifted. Well, we fans will take it as a gift, since we need to have fierce competition to counter the PEKKA Evo. That being said, simple steps are needed to unlock this Evo card for free, which is explained below.
First up, you will need to participate in the Mega Knight Evolution event which is titled as Milestone Event kicks off on September 14th, 2024. To unlock the Mega Knight Evolution, you’ll need to earn 55 crowns per day for a total of 6 days. The event lasts for 10 days, so you have some flexibility. You don’t need to play for six consecutive days. Hence, you have 4 extra days to catch up if you miss out on a few days.
Speaking of eligibility, if you are in Arena 11 or higher, you can take part in the Milestone event. Again, the question pops up for the players below this Arena. Don’t worry, the makers will bring a Night Evolution event available for you as an alternative. The details of this are not out yet, so stay tuned for official updates.
