Season 20: The Forbidden Palace
It can be clearly seen that the developers are quite focused on the different ways to celebrate the Lunar New Year. As 2021 is the year of the Ox, it can be clearly seen the Ox statues in the arenas. Also, Season 20 will commence on Monday, February 1, 2021.
New Additions in Season 18
1. Tower Skins & Emotes
- Forbidden Palace tower skin: Players can obtain it with Pass Royale at Tier 10.
- Elite Barbarian Candy: can be bought in the shop.
- Elite Barbarian Kiss Emote Elite Barbarian: Kiss, Can be obtained by Pass Royale.
Two previously released emotes will now be available in the shop.
- Lava Hound: Pups.
- Elite Dark Prince: Cry.
2. Theme based Soundtrack
The speciality about this season is, it will be full of unique and new contents. This season will introduce The Forbidden Palace arena with come with its own unique and epic soundtrack that‘s themed for the Lunar New Year.
3. New Arena of Season 20
The arena has new looks resembling the Forbidden Palace. Along with the theme, the background will be having exclusively made background theme music.
4. Season Trophy Reset: 50% to 25%
From the upcoming season 20, the Trophy reset will be 25% instead of 50%. This particular change was specifically mentioned by the developers in a special post. Devs mentioned it in the official post of the Ladder Trophy Change Revert.
