The Goblin fever will continue as the brand new season of Clash Royale is here with the green troops doing the work. As usual, we have a Card Evolution coming, but this time we have updates of two cards of the Goblin family So, let me provide you with a glimpse of what Clash Royale Season 61 July 2024 Update has in store regarding new skins, emotes, rewards, and other additions.
Clash Royale Season 61 July 2024 Update Overview
New Card Evolutions: Goblin Giant and Goblin Drill
We have two new evolutions this time, with Goblin Giant and Goblin Drill.
Goblin Giant Evolution
The Evolved Goblin Giant retains the same health and damage as its normal form but introduces a unique ability. When its health drops below 50%, he triggers his Sack-trick ability, which spawns knife Goblins every 1.5 seconds, positioned 2.5 tiles behind it, providing continuous offensive pressure. This evolution activates every second cycle.
Goblin Drill Evolution
The Evolved Goblin Drill has an HP-triggering Whack-A-Drill ability with two activation points at 33% and 66% health. Each trigger causes the drill to hide, reappear elsewhere, and spawn Goblins. The drill deals tower damage upon reappearing and continues spawning Goblins. Just like the Giant, this evolution requires two cycles to activate.
New Tower Skins
Coming to cosmetics, in this update, again, we have only one new Tower Skin that has been officially confirmed that can be acquired through the Pass Royale. The season-themed Tower skin is unlocked once players have reached Tier 48 of the Gold Tier in the Pass Royale. Recently, there has been a noticeable absence of new tower skins, but there’s hope for a special event that may introduce one. For now, let’s wait for the update.
Emotes and Banners
Once again, following the pattern of previous updates, five new emotes will be coming, including via promotional, purchase, and Path of Legends. These new emotes will be based on mixed themes. Speaking of Banners, we will have 1 Banner for Diamond Pass Royale owners, 4 in the Banner Box, 1 as the season-themed Promotional Banner, and 1 from the Season Shop.
Season Shop, Card Boosts, and Offers
The Season Shop this season offers a generous array of rewards available for exchange with season tokens. In addition to the cards available, banners and emotes stand out as valuable investments. Just like last time, we will have eight cards available in the shop.
Among them are Goblin Giant, Goblin Drill, Goblin, Magic Archer, Mini PEKKA, Skeletons, and Dart Goblin, each priced at 500 tokens for a set of 100 or 25 cards depending on the rarity. Additionally, the Legendary cards Magic Archer and Sparky cards are available, each costing 1500 tokens for a set of 1 card.
Card Evolution enthusiasts can find Ice Spirit Shards in the Season Shop. We have four cards picked for a boost this time, featuring Goblin Giant, Goblin Drill, Goblin, and Sparky, with a Magic Coin for 10000 tokens and Wild Shards for 6000 tokens.

Goblin Machine
- Hit Points: 2598 → 2196 (-15%)
- First Hit Speed: 0.2 sec → 0.5 sec (+150%)
Tesla
- Damage: 230 → 220 (-4%)
- Hit Speed: 1.1 sec → 1.2 sec (+9%)
Wizard Evolution
- Shield HP: 371 → 296 (-20%)
Dagger Duchess
- Dagger charge: 0.8 sec → 0.9 sec (13% increase)
- Hit Speed: 0.35 sec → 0.45 sec (+29%)
