Birthday celebrations are all around as Clash Royale is turning nine. On the same note, the March 2025 update is here to celebrate in style! Season 69, titled 9th Birthday, brings a mix of festive surprises, balance changes, and exciting new content to Clash Royale.
As expected, we have one Card Evolution coming, new Tower Skin, Season Shop refresh, offers and plenty of new stuff coming right in. So this space will cover all the details you need to know.
Clash Royale Season 69 March 2025 Update Overview
New Evolution: Hunter
Time to hunt! The Hunter Evolution introduces a brand-new mechanic with the Net Gun ability, allowing the evolved Hunter to trap enemy troops and temporarily disable them. Upon its first attack, the evolved Hunter fires a net at the closest troop, preventing it from moving or attacking for four seconds.
If the target is a flying unit, it gets forced to the ground, so ground troops can also target it. The Net Gun ability continuously activates on the nearest troop after each cycle, but only on one troop at a time. The Evolution requires two cycles to activate, meaning every third deployment will feature the evolved form.
New Tower Skins
As usual, we have one new Tower Skin that has been officially confirmed for the Pass Royale with this update. Crown Tower Skin is unlocked once you have reached Tier 56 of the Premium Tier in the Pass Royale, which is indicative of the crown.
Emotes and Banners
Five new emotes will be coming, including via promotional, purchase, and Path of Legends. These new emotes will be based on the Season theme and the new evolution. Speaking of Banners, we will have 1 Banner for Diamond Pass Royale owners, 4 in the Banner Box, and 1 from the Season Shop.
Season Shop, Card Boosts, and Offers
The Season Shop has been updated with rewards available for exchange with season tokens. In addition to the cards available, banners and emotes stand out as valuable investments. Just like last time, we will have eight cards available in the shop.
Among them are Cannon, Skeletons, Ice Spirit, Hog Rider, Musketeer, Ice Golem, and Fireball, each priced at 500 tokens for a set of 100 or 25 cards, depending on the rarity at first for 5 purchases. Additionally, The Log card is the only Legendary card available, costing 1500 tokens for 1 card until three purchases.
If you want to push some Card Evolutions, you can find Cannon Shards in the Season Shop for 5000 tokens. Wild Shards for 6000 tokens and Rare Book is also featured in the Season Shop for 10000 tokens. Four cards were picked for a boost this time: Hunter, Royal Giant, Fisherman, and Lightning.
Balance Updates
No details have been revealed yet for the Balance Updates, but we can expect something to happen in terms of the changes.
