The latest update in Call Of Duty Mobile – The Heat update bought in a wide range of new content, battle pass, Zombies mode, and more. However, with just a few days remaining until Season 7 in 2021 starts, the developers have hinted at the inclusion of the iconic Monastery map in COD Mobile. The Monastery is a multiplayer map that was earlier featured in Call of Duty Online.
Monastery from Call of Duty Online is coming to COD Mobile
The Monastery Map was first featured in Call of Duty Online, back in 2013. The map is inspired by a Buddhist monastery and is a pretty close-quartered one. The map’s area can be compared to Tunisia, as both are quite similar.
The map shows only one main entrance to the Monastery, one side entrance, and the other side is bordered away from the ocean. A lot of small quarters can be seen, as inspired by real-life monasteries and no true open area is present on the map.
The map is ideal for close-range gunfights as there is an open area except for the right and left borders of the map. Compared to the original map from Call of Duty Online, the COD Mobile version of this map will have some of the areas forbidden, such as the side entrance. It will be interesting to play Search and Destroy on this map, as teams can play more passive and use the left and right sides of the map to push enemies.
Moreover, this map also has a small building in the middle of the map with two entrances from the right lane, which leads to the same square hallway and one staircase from the Northside of the map to the same. Two towers are situated on the right edge of the map facing each other. Small rooms are also located on the opposite sides of the map.
When Monastery map will arrive in COD Mobile
The Monastery map will arrive in the Season 7 of COD Mobile. However, there is no official release date available for the release of Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 2021 yet. So far this multiplayer map has been seen in the COD Mobile CN version and now will make its first appearance in the global version next season.
